Way to change player you're assigned online?

In Online Team Match up, you're randomly assigned to a team and a player. In 2k12, there was a glitch where you could actually switch from the player you're assigned to another non-assigned player on your team (say you want to be K Perkins instead of Durant). You had to sub your starter for a bench player, then press a few buttons and bam. (Full instructions can be found on Youtube.)


Is there a glitch in 2k13 that allows that? Really hate the lack of choice 2k13 gives us.

Does the "preferred position" setting have any effect on that?

My guess is no. As far as I can tell, team matchup consists of 4 guys usually. The first to log in gets assigned the best star on Team A. Second gets the second best player on Team A. Third gets the best star on Team B. And Fourth gets second best player on Team B.

Problem is that I'm terrible when I'm a big dude and would much prefer to be a small and quick guard.
