Way too high FT% when playing (even with slider sets to 100)

Sat Nov 10, 2012 3:50 am

Hi!

I'm a bit concerned with the FT% when playing games. It is damn too high, I rarely miss a free shot, even with FT Difficulty slider sets to 100 and also set Real FT%.
In my latest game I played LAL and got 21/22 FT (go figure!). In fact, I've never seen below 80% for me and 75% for the CPU (it is a bit more realistic, but always around 80-90%, rarely below 80% and once I saw 75%).

I hit FTs even with a simple tap on the shoot button (not keeping it pushed). Almost never miss one!

I play All-Star level.

Anything to do here?

Well Real Player FT% means the CPU automatically shoots the FT and makes it based on the players FT attribute. Meaning you don't have to time the shot. So that's why you're still hitting them w/o holding the shooting button. If they're hitting too many with the Real FT% setting on, turn it off and you'll soon realize it's not all that easy to hit FT's manually.

Well, that's the point. If I set Real FT% but all the players hit 90%, something is wrong...

I will try to set manual FT, but while I can drop my %, the CPU will be still getting 85%.

Yea I don't believe there's much you can do then. Perhaps the FT difficulty slider is reversed, try setting it at lower values and see if it has any effect on the CPU (although highly unlikely). Outside of that not much else you can do. Just make sure every time you play, you have at least a few drinks so that the FT% is the last thing on your mind.
