I'm a PG but oftens plays PF! :(

I am only at 1.81m PG but MyCareer, Lakers, often plays me in PF! And I don't like it! Is it a bug or something?

that happens when the Coach needs to give the bench more minutes but needs you in at the same time. I get put at SG on my PF all the time.

Can I make that not happen? I often lose in match-up if I am put as PF. They post me up and I lose so badly. I have no post game.

talk to your gm about everything except for the trades..
change the mycareer game settings for some time..
and if some big guys posting you up, call for double teams immediatly

Yes it's pretty dumb... I'm a 1,98 SG (6'6) and the coach sometimes plays me as a PF or even C... lol imagine a 98kgm SG in the post against Bynum, Howard or Gasol...not a pretty sigth to behold...
Though at least for me it usually happens late in the game and if I'm winning by a lot and with the bench guys, it never happens in close games.

I have problem on the contrary. I'm Back-to-Basket PF but have to play SG or PG, even in close games. Pretty disappointing

This happens to me (6'2"/ 190lbs PG) a lot in 2k13, but I had the same problem in 2k12.
Those are the kind of bugs that keep me from playing MyCareer mode.

If you want to change that just talk to your gm about " I really don't like playing with a particular player " , then choose the player that the same postion as you are .... then play well.... and also talk to your gm about your playing time ...

OR

Ask a trade , choose a team that don't have player as your position

SOMETIMES ITS ABOUT YOUR HEIGHT , WHEN YOUR A 6'6 PG , AND YOUR TEAM HAS A 6'3 , 6'2 PG'S THEY WONT MAKE YOU PLAY PG , INSTEAD THEY WILL PLAY YOU AS SG OR SF

I've had my 6'4" SG subbed in at power forward (having to matchup with LeBron James in a small ball lineup, no less), but it's only happened once so far.

I don't want to request trade because after 5 teams of trade, I finally got into my Lakers!

I'm a 6'4 PG, probably play more minutes at SF and PF than my actual position of PG. It's what happens when the lineup goes super-small. Hopefully some fix comes whenever (if?) a patch is released.

I dare say it has been by now, but it's perhaps worth noting again just to be sure. Like I said though, it's only happened to me once; I very rarely get subbed back in at any position other than shooting guard, which is my player's primary position.

Did you not see how I told you how to stop it? Use cheat engine nba 2k13 tablet and lock your player into the pass first position. I think it's 168 not sure but look it up and The coach will not play you out of position.
