Looking forward to trying out the controls. The dribbling moves do remind me a lot of Live's Freestyle Control, which certainly appeals to me having never become a fan of Isomotion. Hopefully the change pans out.

Finally some Blazers exposure. (no need for Oden joke)

spin dunk/lay up, euro step, that feels like a combo move on mortal kombat..

I like that different shots are button combinations rather than shot stick stuff. I could never get the eurostep right because i'd be aiming the shot stick in the wrong direction. It seems way better to double tap the shoot button.

Just a side thing since they only used Xbox buttons in the trailer, they should place (at least for the PC Version) the option to edit the buttons that show up. I use a PS3 controller and the fruity icons they use is nothing close to the buttons on it. I know we've put in mods for that stuff, but I had to choose between two mods because they both used the same file...
On topic for the controls they should be interesting to try out, and yes they do look somewhat similar to the Live freestyle controls.

Learn how to export and import one, maybe two textures, from one file to another and use w/e you want.
Slick trailer, but doesn't seem as 1:1 as they made it sound. More like an animation chooser with more specificity and less lag. IMO freestyle and/or quickstrick is more 1:1
Guess I'll find out in 6 hours.

Wow, After seeing this, 2K finally has put the nail in the coffin for NBA Live. They actually changed the controls for them to better suit an NBA Live gamer. Genius!

Agreed. A couple of commenters on our YouTube channel have declared that the controls sound challenging and too difficult to master. Personally they don't strike me as being any more difficult than Isomotion, indeed they should be easier in my opinion, but admittedly that could be due to my familiarity with NBA Live's controls.

I guess it wont happen as often that you do something that you didnt want to do just because the direction thing was tough to master.

Please, can someone provide a link to download the game manual? "2ksports.com/manual/nba2k13" doesn't do any favor at all.. Thanks before!

its not up yet

They probably should've sorted that out before they went live with the trailer.

considering Beluba had to correct some of the wrong controls in this trailer, I bet something went awry

Considering Ronnie was informing us of how many green lights were left to release a screenshot, I would imagine any such errors would've been found before the video was released. Smells like a rush job, the Controls trailer was never announced, so maybe it was put together in a hurry and released without much checking just to coincide with the demo's release.
