So i'm gonna wank off a bit here in this post - cos today marks my 10 years here at NLSC and i'll stroke my ego if i want to. I figured it was more of a milestone than any post count i might have. I've been on and off here in recent times but i have to say that this is the only online community where i've stuck around for this long. When i joined here, i had only had the internet for like a year or less. The whole concept was still new to me! That's how long it's been.
When i joined, i was a little skinny hairless teenager still yet to complete puberty.
When i joined, i wasn't allowed to drink yet.
When i joined, Karl Malone and Gary Payton were still a 20+ppg players.
When i joined, Ben Wallace arrived.
When i joined, Pau Gasol was rookie of the year.
When i joined, there were 29 teams in the league, and Charlotte were the Hornets.
When i joined, the Sacramento Kings were better than the Lakers.
When i joined, the Toronto Raptors were a playoff team.
When i joined, Andrew was admin... wait he still is..
I also figure "shout-outs" have been done to death, and if i were to do that then i wouldn't be saying anything i hadn't said already in the past, so i thought i might try something a little different. Let's play a game...
Here's the game - you tell me a story, or post an image, and i will make a mini musical soundtrack to match your story/scenario or image. You can draw/write the image/story yourself, or you can get it off the internet somewhere. Don't make the story too long, just something simple. You can either take it seriously and challenge me to write something genuinely good. Or you can dick around and post something silly. I will adapt. The music i make will be anywhere between 10 and 60 seconds long. I may also publish the story+music on my website if it's got a little somethin' special to it.
