Hmm.. That seems possible especially with his supporting cast, ty lawson, javale mcgee :D lol, kenneth faried, those guys, i mean they took the lakers to seven games last year without technically having a "superstar".

I still can't believe the Nuggets offloaded their questionable contracts for an All-Star like Iguodala. That team is going to be a really scary team in a couple years, where I fully expect Iguodala, Gallinari, and Lawson to be, at the very least, borderline All-Stars. Javale McGee and Kenneth Faried might even be in that discussion as well.

What's next? At least a modest amount of success in Denver and possibly another All-Star appearance in the near future, I would suggest.

Reach and lose in the WCF.
Gets traded to the Pistons.

Reaquired by the Sixers.

What was with his defense last year? I only saw couple of his games but he was awesome. He shut down Melo 1 on 1 and made him look like his bitch.

Well, he's at least a top3 perimeter defender in this league right now, so I don't see that as much of a surprise.

With him not being on the SIxers anymore, I'd at least want him to be on a team where he can play for something more than just making the playoffs. The Nuggets somewhat fit the description, I'd say they're very likely to make the 2nd round in the West. However, WCF is probably out of the question with the Thunder and the NBA 2K Lakers in place. Anyway, this trade is bound to make me a little bit interested in the Nuggets, I'll definitely watch a few of their games this season when I have a chance and quietly support them for as long as Iggy's there.

I expect Denver to be the dark asshole in the west. If McGee locks in mentally and becomes consistent, I expect them to be the GSW of 2007 on steroids. (because they have great size and defense as well along with their up tempo game)

They have great PGs for a fast tempo game, great shooters, great athletes, size, defense is only going to improve with Iggy. With McGee being a presence in the paint he is capable of being, that is a 1-2 punch for a great perimeter and paint defense.

BTW what is their starting lineup?

Lawson
Gallo
Iggy
Faried
McGee

Is that right? All the players bring something special to the table individually and as a combined team they are capable of being a big headache.

I'd say Iguodala will be in the backcourt with Lawson while Faried and Gallinari will be up front, but yeah, that seems like their likely starting five.

I think Iguodala would be a leader for this team and would do good under George Karl, and lead the team to the playoffs. But he does have 1 year left in his contract, and 1 player option year also. So would that mean he will stay for long is what I'm thinking.

There's Wilson Chandler as well. Should be great off the bench, filling up for Iggy or Gali.

Yeah, WOW, they have a lot of options to alter their lineup for what they want.

Iggy should become a better offensive player this year and in the future should he remain under the wings of George Karl. Definitely top 5 perimeter defender in the NBA.

Lawson/A.Miller
Iguodala/Fournier/Brewer
Gallo/Chandler/Q.Miller/Hamilton
Faried/Randolph
McGee/Mozgov/Koufos

God damn, this team is deep.

And they could keep that team around for a while. Only old one is Andre Miller.

Iguodala is one of my favorite players. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to playing SG again, if he does, as these last few years he's mainly been a SF. He's kind of an inconsistent scorer on offense, but he has his moments.
