Well somewhat of an update.
There is something that I forgot to put in the "READ ME" file.Make sure to place all jerseys in the unihalf folder that is located in the NBA Live 08/sgsm/uniforms folder.That is all.

the failure to start is resolved, but appear to play the old jerseys.

how i fix that?

The game closes and get a window that says ''this aplicacion stopped worked''

It is obviously the jerseys.The only thing to do right now is to pick different jerseys in the jersey select screen.

I think the problem lies within the 2x Okc jerseys
i picked every team and started a game selecting their home jerseys .Everytime the game froze on a specific team i switch to 1x their jerseys
go back to the same teams to see if it crash.ive did this for every team.
some teams have 1x jerseys and some have 2x.
Okc & Cle are missing 1x jerseys.When switching these jerseys it did stop alot of crashes.
now the game crashes when i Vs Okc & Cle
every other team was fixed by me doing this.
Ive started on a 1x concept for Cle but photoshop cs5 always give me a hard time when changing layer thumbs color take a look at the waistband i couldn't change it it should be the darker color maroon.

So I reinstalled my NBA Live 08 and got everything in its folder but when I play the games some of the players heads are missing, when I call for a timeout the game would shut shut down and some game modes aren't working. I'm not really sure if I put everything in its right folder. So here's what I did, I copied the files and deleted the ones originally in the game. But as for the files in the folders like "1-Logos-arena previews" I just copied the folder in the sgsm folder or do I only copy the files inside it? So uhm yeah I'm really confused. Help pls

Sounds like your missing some files.
Always remember to backup your original files
but to answer your question you place all .fsh.big etc inside Sgsm folder,all content inside of the other folders as they are labled.
ALWAYS read the READ ME.TXT files most of them give a good explaining of where and how to place and install these files

I believe its the 2x jerseys i could be wrong but it stop crashing for certain teams that i installed 1xjerseys for.
i reinstalled again and didn't install the screens~ingame files and so far it works

For those who are experiencing game crash after the loading here's what to do:
Remove from your sgsm folder the files OVERLAYS~ASWINTRO.BIG and OVERLAYS~INTRO.BIG
then that's it. Enjoy Pm me if there is still a problem

As for your AIACT question, have you given Tigers animations a try? Check the download section for it, I'm using it and have had 0 problems. With the tup rosters, and my own dynasty rosters. (Though I think it may crash in the dunk contest, not sure)

hey guys,... i'm just new here in nlsc but i'm been following and downloading updates from nba live 08 for a such a long time... well, i've been reading all the posts here and i'm wondering, is still there any crashes in tup 12 mod.? because i want to first make sure that this mod is crash-free before i download it...

I've found some small issues its a timely & careful process but i haven't had any crashing during game introduction
what i did as far as i can remember was i used
1:NLSC rosters
2:i didn't install the game intro,outro overlay files
3. i used a compatible shoe pack for NLSC rosters.

ok problem solved guys. i just hope i won't get banned for helping you all again to solve this crash issue coz i've been really busy testing all fixes so tup 12 won't crash on me -.-'
i only followed devilish solution #3 - i didn't copied "Shoes-Shoe previews" contents to my sgsm folder and it solved everything. didn't deleted anything and i used tup12 roster also. so to all the masters of this mod thank you very much sa inyong lahat i think the problem is with the contents of the "shoes-shoe previes" folder or the shoe pack itself. somewhat it causes the game to crash after loading. i'm now looking for a shoe pack to test with tup 12.. goodluck to all of you guys

ok it's final guys game 100% no crash for me. i've installed all tanya's shoe pack and it doesn't crash too the only thing lacking now is the real atmosphere music patch. it's really a damn shame i've deleted all my tup 11 folder's here in our pc just yesterday. not enough space for games. anyway i hope someone could upload it again in download section or maybe make an updated real atmosphere patch. i'm planning to record and share a video of tup 12 with tweak enb settings here maybe this weekend. see y'all

for some reason, when i go to edit players shoes, i cant see the preview of the AWAY Shoes on the player. plz help

i only followed devilish solution #3 - i didn't copied "Shoes-Shoe previews" contents to my sgsm folder and it solved everything.

I still have this feeling it is not the shoes.But if it works for you then that is great.I have a feeling that it is some of the coaches files.I fixed them then I played a game using two of the biggest jersey files that I have installed.(newyhome.viv & toromili.viv) and I did not have a crash.


UPDATE!!!!!!
I will be releasing update pack 1 in a few hours.It will include updated coaches files(example:phjacks.viv).There were some that caused me concern,A few had cf's the size of regular player cf's.Which would cause crashes.
The update will also include my sexiness.
The update will also include all of the missing jerseys I forgot to release along with the jersey previews.
New coaches.dbf/teamgear.dbf/shoes.dbf files that will go into your roster.
And I am also including some ai's that you will be able to try out with this mod.

The update will include a lower resolution eurobasket court.Because I got a report that it was causing crashes.

This update WILL NOT include the cf's of the free agents.Unfortunately,when I was transferring those files over to my external hard-drive,my laptop decided to be an asshole and freeze on me.Those will be in update 2 that will be released not that long from update 1.

I did that but some shoes had no texture for me
but i did do something different and i think i fixed it with 2x jerseys also
i installed fresh and i think the bug is in the screens~ingame files i didnt install any of them.
started a few games with a few random teams that were crashing before and it worked so far
try that if it still crashes .Im gonna test out some other patches now to see if its any more problems.

i just freshly installed TUP 12..
When i play Miami vs. Oklahoma the game crash,just when it finish Loading:-(

What im missing???
