First Commercial Tonight aka 2K12 Accolades w/ a 2k13 logo

Ronnie said the first commercial will air before Game 1 of the Finals tonight, will be posted after it airs online.

Was gonna post a speculation for it yesterday forgot completely. I guess this is tradition now, will likely just be some 2K12 footage with a "Coming October 2nd" at the end.

Basically what I said w/ Kobe,Blake, and D-Rose. The footage we got, other than some new animations and all-star weekend dosen't seem like something I've never seen though.

There's been a Wii version every year. It's a port of the PS2 version with shoddy motion controls tacked on. (So, like most Wii titles.)

Blake Griffin is a sell-out. He was the cover guy for crappy EA college hoops title after all. Loyalty = $$$'s I guess, rather than it being about product. Can't blame him I guess, such is life.

NCAA 10 is/was crappy? I know it was unsupported after release so there are some crashing glitches, but its not a terrible game (only when compared to CH2K8)

the 2K/EA cover agreements, I'm pretty sure, don't have exclusivity agreements with them for future endorsements like the shoe companies. That may have changed since 2009 when Blake was on the cover, but why would he be loyal to a brand that didn't exist for years?

You're right, not crappy by any means, just a little disappointing IMHO. Great presentation, I liked what they did with starting motion offenses etc. I didn't like that players seems oversized/or court too small (didn't seem right). The main other thing I didn't like was that there was no differentiation between players. A big man felt the same as a guard. It's a shame (travesty actually) that they didn't support the title.

Not sure where you're coming from on that one. Shaq and KG both did Live covers before going on to appear on 2K covers.
