I believe we can restrict the colours though, so if they become a problem we might have to go that route. In the meantime, please choose wisely everyone. As noted, yellows and whites tend not to be a good idea with a lighter background.

Agree. It was clear before, black/red - admins. And now it's difficult to know who is who until you look under the nickname. Plus, admins do not look so special now since I can choose red and I will look the same.
I'd say there should be a poll and we have to decide on the color for the contributor group.
The ability to change the color is great, but it doesn't look good on the forums.

If I had to choose, I'd go with blue or green as we have already got red and black.

Not a knock on the contributors but I suggest that the username colors for the admins and mods be different from the contributors. So if Andrew likes to use red, only him and the other admins/mods would be able to use it so as to give people a tip that those admins/mods are the people to go after for general help in the forums.

Certain colours are restricted to admin use only, though we might have to extend those restrictions to similar shades if it's becoming an issue.
