Well... The series itself is so boring that I nearly forgot this was a playoffs series. If the Finals is going to be SAS vs IND, you know we need to have a lock out again.

No, David Stern would veto the match up and swap the Spurs with the Thunder, because the league would lose money due to low TV ratings.

The referees let them play in the first quarter, and the Clippers destroyed them. The referees start calling fouls in the second, and the Spurs comeback. It's purely a coincidence, though.

Also the Clippers are starting to get key players on the injuries list. If what they say is true, Paul and Griffin both have two injuries a piece, and butler is pretty much playing one handed.

That was probably the shittiest second half in playoff history. lol at the Spurs using Hack-a-Evans toward the end of the game and lol at the Clippers for keeping him in the game.

Why can't you use the hack-a foul under 2 min in the 4th or OT?
Sun May 20, 2012 8:32 am
Because the team with the ball will get one FTA with the shooter of their choice on the floor and get back possession of the ball.

Other than the foul Reggie Evans strategy, the Spurs played a fantastic game. That third quarter was brutal. The Spurs were making so many quick baskets.
There was this one quick where Manu came up court on the front side and did a quick back cut under neath the bakery and got fed for an easy 2. I swear I saw him smiling so he came yogurt because he knew he was going to do it.
Watching the Spurs on tv may seem boring to me, but from 20 feet away watching how they move the ball so quickly and make great passes to their open players who get good shot opportunities gets them much respect from me.
Every time the Clippers scored and made a stop, they committed a silly foul halting any potential momentum in their favor.
I know the Clippers are injured, but the lineup they were using in the fourth quarter was interesting.

Chris Paul's been a bit ordinary in the series. The assists have been there (though he's had a couple of high turnover games) and he's struggled shooting the ball. If he knocks down a few more of those shots (5/17 in Game 3), it could be 2-1 right now.
A sweep certainly wouldn't be surprising at this point, but they've got a decent shot at taking Game 4. Can't see it going past the five games I initially predicted though.

Posting from phone, auto-correct.

I thought the bakery might have been a nickname for Boris Diaw... but I can see auto-correct coming up with that.

Wow, baking cakes AND coming yogurt. I think you went to the wrong arena, Pdub

That shot of Popovich, Duncan, and Parker on the bench talking, smiling while they were down tells it all. Like they decided extra fun time is over and time to go to work to cut the lead.

Looking at the Clippers bench it seems that most of the young players are just happy to be there. Deandre Jordan has a habit of biting his fingernails.

lol at the flop attempt for game winner
