The Detroit Pistons made up their Roster to become a real force in the East. After a terrible start in November and December the Pistons fired Headcoach Lawrence Frank to hire HC Kenny Baxter.
Detroit acquired Danilo Gallinari from the Nuggets and Tony Parker in a trading-deadline deal with the Spurs. The Pistons went from 18-27 (12th East) to 40-42 (7th East).
The Orlando Magic won the season series 3:1, since the Pistons have Tony Parker the Magic went 1:1 against the Pistons. The last matchup was a close loss at Amway Center.
