All's well. We hate 'cause we care. Unless you're a racist like Sauru. Then all you have is hate.

Wade throwing Bibby's shoe is good for a chuckle. Not the most sporting thing to do of course, but let's not go overboard. A little bit of gamesmanship between former teammates.
Meanwhile, what a blunder by Amar'e, who is now questionable for the rest of the series. His frustration is understandable, it's cool that he does give a damn and isn't just collecting a bit paycheque, but sounds like he's done a fair bit of damage. As it is, he's probably lucky it wasn't any worse.

Knicks are getting swept, with or without Amar'e. That is all.

^ Agreed. Knicks don't have what it takes to beat the Heat this year. Simple.

let the Chris Bosh ostrich jokes resume.

the reason Amare hates glass so much

I don't think the Heat should take the Knicks lightly though. They seemed to find an answer to their problem when the roster was depleted this season. Hoping the Heat don't let their guard down and take one of two games from MSG.

Well, that was a sorry display.

The Knicks just aren't in Miami's class. They weren't winning this series even if they were healthy. As long as Miami has this group, Knicks aren't winning shit in the near future. And of course they set the NBA record for playoff futility. Thirty-nine years without a title and counting....
Looking forward to the NY Giants training camp.

Doesn't that dubious honour belong to the Suns? 44 years in the league without a single championship.
Fri May 04, 2012 1:47 pm
I think Jeffx was referring to the Knicks setting the record tonight with 13 playoff games without a win.

Ah, my mistake.

I feel bad for the Knicks. The Heat are looking good and deserve credits but I think it's more of Knicks going imploding due so many injuries and unfound chemistry. Even during this series, Davis went out and Bibby had to play major minutes. And Amare came back from injury all of sudden and had to pick up his game while playing the series. This compact season just didn't work out for them so far outside of Linsanity.

I think it's all because of franchise instability, especially this season, just like Carmelo said. I mean the injuries, the coaching change, Linsanity coming out of nowhere, etc. Too much of an adjustment in very little time, especially in the midst of the season and playoffs, plus the lockout played a big part in it, since Melo trade was at the end of last season and there was just not enough time for him and Amare to develop enough chemistry. I think all this talk about trading one of them is all bull. Prepare to see calm and content Knicks next season that will be 3rd team in the East.

Agreed. The Knicks are all over at the place at the moment and dealing with injuries to key players. It's been a disorganised season with its fair share of sloppy basketball around the league. They've got some good pieces in place, there's promise and potential there. They need to give what they've got a proper chance to work before making sweeping changes.
Fri May 04, 2012 10:23 pm
There is no talk about trading "one of them", there's only talk about trading Melo since Amare is the most untradable player in the league.
Melo forced out D'Antoni so he's probably safe.
