It looks like better luck next time for us we can't without rose VS the heat I mean they did it but not in ECF
Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:46 am
Regular season wins mean nothing versus the Heat, the Bulls will be lucky to get 1 win now without Rose if they make to the ECF.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:52 am
The thing that will probably get everyone is because of when it happened, the game was pretty much over. It was pretty much how Rose got injured close to the end of one of the Pacers series last season, it was unnecessary playing time...
Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:53 am
Agreed I think they just making them sure which turned out pretty bad
Sun Apr 29, 2012 9:01 am
That wasn't the news I wanted to wake up to this morning. Devastating blow that mars what should've been a good opening to the series. All I can say is I hope that he'll make a full recovery and will be fine in the future, seems safe to say that this year's run is toast. Gutted.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 9:10 am
That's tough. I really thought Chicago could have beat the heat this year. I feel bad for Rose. That's for sure not the way you want your season to end.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:25 am
I hope Drose doesn't follow the Tmac, Steve Francis injury path...looks like thats a great possibility right now.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:33 am
Let's not even go there, that's too gloomy a prospect to even think about right now.
Rubio and Lin also suffered season ending knee injuries, while Shumpert went down with a knee injury in Game 1 of the Heat/Knicks series. Seems to be a theme this year.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:39 am
In my opinion the big factors was the lockout and the weird regular season in general. Most players didn't have good off seasons because of the lockout, and it messed up a lot of player's conditioning, Rose uses his legs in incredible ways to move around the court, not to say no one else does, but they way he plays he needs to be in top shape to do what he can do. All of his injuries this season where leg/feet area injuries, so it must mean something.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:41 am
Absolutely, it's got to have been more of a grind than usual and it's clearly taken its toll on a lot of players. Hopefully they'll all be able to make a full recovery in time for next season.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:50 am
uh-oh, things are looking really up for the Sixers
Sun Apr 29, 2012 12:01 pm
Well in terms of the Sixers they still can't beat the Bulls since all the Bulls lost is the scoring I admit it will hurt but they should take them down in 6 games since the defense is not yet gone.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 12:04 pm
I think the Sixers have a chance to upset now, won't be easy at all though. Holiday now's gotta step for Philly, he's gonna be guarded by Lucas or Watson.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 12:05 pm
The Bulls should still be able to get out of the first round (though it's hardly guaranteed), but beyond that, they're probably not going further than the second round.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 12:28 pm
And now, Boston's chances of getting to the conference finals is increasing!!!!
And Miami would be happy about the injury.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:17 pm
Remember guys that the Bulls went 18-9 in the reg. season w/o DRose. 18-9 isn't bad. Like what •BS• said, all the bulls lost is scoring, which can be replaced by the 2 other point guards of the bulls namely Watson and Lucas. Their best defense is still there. I really hope they can pass the 2nd rd.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:29 pm
I guess we can take Boston to a 7 Game and we might win or not depending on what's the result
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:38 pm
Remember the game when the Bulls bench beat the heat? If CJ Watson can do throughout the playoffs what he done in that game, it would be sick.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:38 pm
Agreed and they didn't do it once it's twice well the twice is when rose didn't have a great night.

Hate to say it, but Derrick Rose will never play the same.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:45 pm
I really hope he can recover soon, amare managed to do it before. Rose torned both his ACL and MCL right? or it's the same thing? Damn just when he is starting to blossom and chicagos hope for another championship run, this happened.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:49 pm
Only ACL man
Sun Apr 29, 2012 2:10 pm
They were 18-9 without him in the regular season and they had some impressive victories without him, yes, but the Playoffs is an entirely different animal. Hoping for the best the rest of the way and in the future, but it's looking quite gloomy at present.

If it's as bad as currently being reported, it's a very distinct possibility.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 2:49 pm
The Heat can beat the Bulls with or without Rose. But with A sidekick like D.Wade, trip to the Finals is easy. This time we win it all.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 2:59 pm
Lol so that's why you got beaten by the BULLS WITHOUT ROSE 2X.
