Absolutely disgraceful. There's physical play, there's chippiness and things getting a little heated when two top teams lock horns in a competitive game in a Playoff atmosphere, but that's just dirty. I think Stephen A is actually underestimating the probable suspension, I'm guessing it'll be at least five games. Given his history, there's probably an outside chance he's out for the entire postseason, depending on how Harden pulls up. I imagine the league will not hesitate to make an example of him and given the recklessness and stupidity of the situation, it won't be unwarranted.

It's a shame for the Lakers, but I guess after all these years that's still the risk with World Peace. As for his claims that it's an accident...nope, not buying it.

If it were accidental, he'd have turned around the second he made contact, instead of continuing up the court beating his chest.

badreligionau, this for me is worse because Harden was totally unaware of it coming his way. Artest went full force swinging his arm and things could have been MUCH MUCH more devastating in the worst case. Not anybody deserves that. That just looked nearly a crime to me.
