With Dwight Howard calling the shots in Orlando, shows that he is interested to stay long-term but with a lot of changes to be done first.
And that starts with Van Gundy OUT!!! according to Dwight
at least he is still committed to the Magic even being a drama queen... he better successfully convince Deron Williams or else all Dwight's crying will be for NADA!!!
But all this attitude that Dwight show tells everyone else he doesn't deserve an MVP.

I would like if Stan will get fired, so that the rookies will be involve in the rotation. Damn I didn't see how Justin Harper plays yet
Sun Apr 08, 2012 2:57 pm
He might play before the regular season ends

Hedo is out for 3 weeks and Earl Clark is playing significant minutes

Without Dwight Howard the Magic hardly win a game anymore. They still should make the 8th seed.
Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:48 pm
This probably was worth a thread of its own but whatever.
Disc I know is a bitchy thing to deal with. I guess a surgery is necessary in this case. Meanwhile this should be a good news to the some of Eastern conference playoffs teams. Whoever faces the Magic in first round pretty much gets to play against 20 wins team.
Sat Apr 14, 2012 6:58 pm
yeah if they suck in games left they could be in 8th spot
Sat Apr 14, 2012 7:16 pm
If you ask me, I think its better to land at 8 than 7 or 6. They would have better chances advancing to the 2nd round if they would face the Bulls, rather than the Celtics or Heat. Im not saying that the Heat and Celtics are better than the Bulls, Im just looking with the match ups.
Dwight would have a hard time working inside the paint if facing the physical frontline of the Celtics.
In order to pass the 2nd round they should face like the Bulls or Pacers, winning over Atlanta is questionable because they got more defensive intensity this time plus have Josh Smith as a weak side shot blocker.

6th spot is the safest and have more chance to advance to the 2nd round if the Pacers will hold at 3rd seed. They find hard to beat the Celtics and a tough match up for the Magic. If wish their 3 point shooting will be on fire in the playoffs

For your guys's sake, I really hope they fire Otis this summer. Next to Billy King, guy's got to be the worst GM in the league.
Sun Apr 15, 2012 12:55 pm
I agree with that
Mon Apr 16, 2012 3:34 am
Then, all the guys on "Inside the NBA" and a ton of other people who are good at business say that everyone involved in the situation is a bush-league dummy who shouldn't say anything about anything ever.
Truer words were never spoken.

Seems to be a good chance Howard will
miss the Playoffs.
Fri Apr 20, 2012 4:04 pm
He is going to have surgery and miss at least six months, he also won't play in London at the Olympics.
Fri Apr 20, 2012 5:05 pm
It's a shame he already got SVG fired, but to sabotage the rest of his last season too? that's cold.
Fri Apr 20, 2012 8:25 pm
Too bad for Dwight

I will be happy enough if the Magic survive the 1st round

now Big Baby should step up every game like he did against Boston

Disc is a permanent shit that will affect your game unless you go for a successful surgery. I am sure there were temporary meditation that would have allowed Dwight to play through the season and playoffs, but it's just better for him to have a surgery early and have a strong comeback as soon as possible for his future. I am not so sure if he'll come back a Magic though.
As for the Pacers, this means pretty much a free ticket to the second round in the playoffs.

Sorry to be pointing out again but if you have a problem with me, just say it and we will talk it out. I find your actions cute but others sooner or later will get tired of it.

Kittens died because of the recent retardation in this thread. What is with the Florida teams that attract stupid people?
