Will you be playing all 82 games?? Or will you simulate some?? Currently, in my association I play around 2 games a month and the result is quite satisfactory, as I get to play and advance pretty quickly, which is ideal for the long-term hauls. Feel free to take a look in my topic and post your thoughts!!
Congrats on the presentation, it looks top-notch!!
Keep up the good work!!

A bright light in the end of the tunnel
By Jim Eichenhofer, @Jim_Eichenhofer
So, just imagine the situation. You suffer an enormous accident, that make you go in to comma. You wake up five months later, and the first thing you want to know is: How my team is going? Oh, in this situation, you’re a Hornets fan.
“WHERE-IS-CHRIS-PAUL?” Is the first thing you would ask doesn’t it? But chill man, there’s no need to worry, I really think we have one of the most promising cores going forward. It was a huge trade nevertheless. The New Orleans is losing their main player, and the pillar of the team in the last years, the point guard from Wake Forest was a beast in the court, but, some errors from the board didn’t allow the team to go further in the playoffs, always staying in the first round in the past years. Now that Chris Paul is out, is time to begin from the scratch.
What did we get for CP3? Well, my sleepy friend, we got one of the best shooting guards in the league, a high flyer forward, and a one time all-star center: Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu and Chris Kaman. Ok, Chris Kaman is in his contract year, but the other two, Gordon and Aminu, are two very promising players, and, with some investments, and a good pick in the draft, we’ll have a team to dream with the playoffs once more. But beware my friend, it’ll be a very long and hard season. The tip-off will be in the New Orleans Arena, against Rose’s Chicago Bulls, a hard game, for a new team.

The new boss
By: John O'Mailey
The Hornets aren’t owned by the NBA anymore. After passing all the offseason talking about the franchise, the local group led by Horace Morris, closed the deal. Morris talked to the reporters after the deal was finished: “We, the people of New Orleans, are so happy that this deal was finally closed. The Hornets team is a very important part of our life now, and we couldn’t lose this team to any other city in the country, now, the Hornets are ours until 2024 at least!”
The talks began after the last NBA season was finished. Horace and a group of businessman of the New Orleans area got a big amount of money and made the offer. After some time, Stern began to negotiate the price of the franchise and after 3 months of talk, some up and downs, here it is, right before the start of the new season, the Hornets have a new owner, and a new board of directors.
In this afternoon, in a big press conference in the New Orleans Arena, the new General Manager for the Hornets was announced. It will be Michael Smith. Who is this guy? So, get to know a little bit of the ex-Princeton student.
Michael Smith is a 48 years businessman from the New Orleans area, one of the minor actionist from the New Orleans Saints franchise and one of the board counselors for the NFL team. He has two major degrees in business for the Princeton University and a little bit of basketball playing time for the Princeton Tigers in his sophomore and freshman years.
“I can guarantee to the Hornets fans that Michael Smith is the right choice for the Hornets.” Said Horace Morris the leader of the group who acquired the team. But, the doubts keep coming, why not Steve Kerr, or another ex-player, or at least someone who already did it? Some people are saying that Smith is there, so the group who acquired the Hornets could have maximized profit. I doubt it.
“I’m immensely happy to assume this job here and to be the front man of the Hornets, it’s really a dream come true, and I can promise that’ll do my best to make a top notch team and give all of the Hornets habitants a good and competitive team to cheer for.” Smith said as soon as he walked up the stairs and sat down in the conference room. The season is about to begin, and the first test of the New Orleans Hornets will be against Chicago Bulls, tip off will be at 19:30 pm, be there!
