I'd say the big loser in all of this is the Warriors, who in the end traded their leading scorer and a recent lottery pick for a broken down Bogut and Richard Jefferson with his toxic deal.

Rockets have already traded Thabeet's $5M salary! Such a waste.

I got no issue with swinging at Bogut but Jefferson deal is a shocker
Trading Udoh means they are admitting their mistake of taking him over Monroe.

Bogut will have a bigger impact when he's fully recovered.

I do not like that move.

Patty Mills is set to sign with the Spurs.
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... an_AntonioSpurs assistant coache Brett Brown who happens to be the Australian coach most likely brought him up.
Nuggets waive Ronny Turiaf.
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... nny_TuriafI say the spurs should go towards him for a decent backup of Splitter and Blair.
Mon Mar 19, 2012 5:59 am
Miami should go after Turiaf, rebounding and shot-blocking are the things he brings. Pittman doesn't know how to pass the ball back once he gets it down low.
Mon Mar 19, 2012 9:26 am
Nice to see Mills back in the league and on a top team at that. With Ford gone, he should have a shot at some decent minutes backing up Parker.

Despite that we both know he's no solution, it's pretty sad that he'd be an upgrade over what we have at the position.
Mon Mar 19, 2012 12:25 pm
nope, the Magic needs to get a descent back up for Dwight
Mon Mar 19, 2012 11:12 pm
Spurs can't sign Mills until the Blazers renounce his rights.

What about J.J Hickson? He was just waived by the Kings, LeBron would love to have him I imagine.

the Warriors and Suns are interested in him

He shouldn't be the Hickson we know from Lebron's time in CLE. Otherwise there wouldn't be a reason teams like rebuilding Kings would let go of talented 23 years old. That's gotta mean that there's something not right about this kid at the moment. Especially with Heat in Win Now mode, they can't wait for him to get into a shape or develop. And the rumor says he's to be a Warrior anyways.

Looks like Fisher is close to sign with the Thunder.
Thu Mar 22, 2012 11:22 am
Now a done deal. Turiaf is also reportedly expected to sign with the Heat.

Boris Diaw signs with the Spurs. Finally getting their 5th bigman.

That would've been a better move a couple of years ago, this year he's been out of shape and not as productive as he once was. It's a low risk move though and he might fare better in a more limited role on a much better team. Worth a shot.
Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:43 pm
Diaw did a great job defending tonight.Especially since Splitter was not playing tonight.
Sat Mar 24, 2012 10:11 pm
Spurs are loading up. First Stephen Jackson then Diaw.
A good pick up. Diaw's offensive skills are similar to Duncan (play the low and high post, pass, shoot the midrange J) but only less awesome, which means he won't have to adjust too much to fit in to the Spurs offense.
Now if only the Blazers would stop being dicks and waive the rights of Patty Mills already so the Spurs can sign him.
Sun Mar 25, 2012 5:07 am
I believe they already released his rights.I know for a fact that he is working on getting his working visa to play over here.
