Nash traded- Phoenix make a new start - end of an era
The Phoenix Suns parted ways with their long time franchise player Steve Nash. Despite Nash never demanded a trade the front office decided to send him away and make a new start next season.

Nash who did not have a chance to win anything in the next few years with the Suns is now on one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Portland is 20-10 on the second place in the West.

Nash is going to face his new task with the Blazers, he was upset that he had to leave Phoenix, but he is also ready to play in Portland. Maybe he has a chance to complete his great career there.

Superior win at Sacramento


An easy win for the Magic to start their four game roadtrip at Sacramento. Dwight Howard was the Magic best scorer with 27 points. The Kings were overwhelmed by Orlando, a huge margin on the boards for the Kings.

Portland defends home court


The Orlando Magic lost their first game against the Portland Trailblazers this season. Dwight Howard was in early foul-trouble and was only able to play about 24 minutes.

"Nash's" Blazers showed strong defense allowing the Magic only to score 94 points.

Finally LaMarcus Aldridge sinked an unbelievable Buzzer Beater from halfcourt to win the game for the Trailblazers.

Magic upset Warriors


The Orlando Magic won the season series 2:0 with their victory over the Warriors at Oakland. Orlando dominated the boards with Howard, Davis and Turkoglu more than 10 rebounds.

Despite Curry's and Ellis' combined 55 points the Warriors could not resist this time. Especially in the first half Orlando was the superior team and never dropped off.

Clippers outscore Magic


Blake Griffin showed a tremendous performance scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds in a win over the Orlando Magic. In addition to that Caron Butler scored 23 points, Chris Paul 21 and Randy Foye with 20 points.

The Clippers had s strong week defeating the Heat and Magic in a back to back series. They almost passed the .500 mark and are currently at the sixth spot in the West.

For the Magic the four game roadtrip was not what they expected. Only 2 : 2 loosing to the Blazers and Clippers, but defeating the Kings and Warriors.

Magic power past Heat in 4th quarter

Leading the season series now 3:0 the Orlando Magic defeated the Miami Heat in a very close game tonight. Miami had an advantage throughout the whole game but could not close it.

Outscoring the Heat 34 - 25 in the last quarter sealed the last minute victory for the Magic. Dwight Howard had 29 points and 17 boards while LeBron had 36 points 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

LeBron James tried to win the game for the Heat with a three point shot on the last possession but it did not went in.

The Magic are now 3:0 against the Heat this season, Orlando has also an advantage for the Division Title race.

Magic confirm trade of Howard


Magic's frontoffice is seeking for a trade of Dwight Howard in the next days. Howard did not take his option or sign a long term contract yet.

"Even we are on a great run this season, we don't want to roll the dice."
