Before I go, I thought I would like to share exactly how I make my jerseys, and what exactly you need to do to make a jersey from scratch.

First off, you need the following before you even start:

FshX:
FshX (WINDOWS XP)
FshX for Windows Vista (WINDOWS VISTA AND WINDOWS 7)

This allows for extraction of FSH files.

Biggui:
BigGUI

This is neccesary for remaking the viv files

Jersey Textures:
My personal set are in this pack:
HD Jersey Patching Tutorial

This isn't a 1024 by 1024 tutorial. It will crash the game. This is a 512 by 512 tutorial, which is included in this pack.

Photoshop:
Patching requires a image editing program. Photoshop is what I use, and will be using for this tutorial.
Download a 30 day trial from here:

After that expires, you will need to purchase a serial key for further use.

DDS Plugin for Photoshop:

Oh..thanks..I'm in particular about changing colors of jerseys of changing it to black because they won't show up in game..I've put them in the correct viv folders and sgsm folders but no such luck..someone suggested that I edit the team gear dbf but I don't have the knowledge to do that yet LOL. I hope the tutorial helps.

You can't change the colors of jerseys in teamgear.dbf.
The only way of changing the colors is to edit the buni files inside the jersey files.
