All commentators participated in the Rumble?
Mon Jan 30, 2012 1:47 pm
I boo this decision
I would have rathered Jericho win, then use the WM match for the streak, so something, I dunno, boo
Mon Jan 30, 2012 1:55 pm
I kinda expected Sheamus to win, as he doesn't have a solid feud to work with. Kharma's appearance was the biggest shocker to me.
Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:22 pm
I'm fine with Sheamus winning, it'll be a good way to build him back up into a main event feud. Jericho winning would've been good but I expect he'll still somehow be involved in the title picture.

Kharma & Road Dogg appearance was spoiled for me
was expecting HHH to show up and was surprised he didn't. i expected Jericho to win before the match started but i guess he didn't need to win the Rumble to start a feud with Punk. I see DBryan dropping the title to Shaemus at WM, CM Punk retaining vs Jericho and Taker beating HHH for the streak. im on the fence about the rock.... i think he puts cena over and shakes his hand after the match blah blah bs endingin another note, i think it's dumb that someone like
Michael Cole makes an appearance. what a joke. if i were someone like yoshi tastu or tyson kidd, id be a bit disappointed.
Hacksawappearance was nice, but a bit of a waste in my opinion. i dont like them continuing the trend from last year bringing legends in the match when it's pretty obvious they have no shot of winning since
Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:27 pm
I reckon Rock/Cena will go down that way too. And unless The Rock was to actually return on a full time basis, even for a few months, that really is the way to book it moving forward as Cena is the permanent talent. It has to be a "passing of the torch" type situation, not that Cena needs it at this point or couldn't weather a loss, but you can't really book it the other way unless Rock's going to be around...which seems highly unlikely.

does Kharma's appearance mean she's back?? she didn't look pregnant anymore, so she must've popped out the baby by now. hopefully, it'll set up a great WM match with Beth Phoenix
Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:36 pm
I doubt she would've been cleared to wrestle otherwise, so I'd say yes. Perhaps not full time just yet, but probably soon.
Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:37 pm
imo that should be the match at WM, barring any terrible celebrity cameos like last year
Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:11 pm
Speaking of cameos, Mike Tyson is reportedly going into the Hall of Fame this year.

Just finished watching the Rumble! Seeing Road Dogg back in the WWE ring again brings back fond memories.

I feel the same way I felt after Federer/Nadal ended in four sets. That's it? It's over? All that build and no payoff?
- Was that the planned finish to the triple threat? It didn't feel like it.
- Jericho promises end of the world, does absolutely nothing.
- "For the first time, all superstars are eligible"...huh? Aren't they always?
- The 30th entrant was a massive letdown.
- I never for a second doubted the result once it got down to the last two. Of course, I had the other guy winning, so the finish fell completely flat as I wasn't at all expecting for the match to finish there.

30th entrant was a letdown as well.
Does Kharma have a good match back in TNA? Seems everybody here likes her
Tue Jan 31, 2012 3:39 am
best known for her feud with Gail Kim, so check this out

Is Bryan supposed to be a heel?
Wed Feb 01, 2012 8:26 am
yea, but he didn't do anything really "heel" yet. Just the annoying yes yes yes and slimey finishes to keep the belt
Wed Feb 01, 2012 8:29 am
And the holier-than-thou vegan schtick on RAW. He's definitely turning.
Wed Feb 01, 2012 6:37 pm
Undertaker's wig looked downright horrible.
Wed Feb 01, 2012 9:49 pm
Something definitely amiss there.
Thu Feb 02, 2012 10:06 am
how long ago did he shave his head?
Thu Feb 02, 2012 9:43 pm
Those photos surfaced late last year, though they certainly could've been photoshopped. If that was a wig then they were likely legit, otherwise it's a gel job gone very much awry.
Tue Feb 07, 2012 10:53 am
Seems like there's a new
CM Punk shirt to debut tonight on Raw. Not as striking as the white one but... there goes my salary.
Tue Feb 07, 2012 11:40 pm
And we have the next step in Jericho's return angle. It's obviously not to everyone's liking, but I can appreciate what they were going for with it. Now that he's actually cutting promos and is back in action in the ring, it should be better. A Wrestlemania match with Punk should be great.
Thu Feb 09, 2012 12:43 am
So we were meant to forget about the girl then. And, of course, Jericho's still getting a massive pop all the time, so all the running around like a spastic monkey achieved nothing.
Daniel Bryan's vegan schtick is silly. It just came out of absolutely nowhere, ruining what was a decent heel turn, and comes across more like the writers figured it worked so well with Punk, it should work with Bryan too. It's an anvilicious BLAM.
The six pack challenge was a bit of a mess. Miz went for the simultaneous clotheslines bump, Jericho ducked under it, then Miz had to jump back up and do it again. Then rolled over and quite clearly had a lengthy conversation with Jericho in the middle of the ring. He spent quite a while looking for Kingston when he was going for the SCF, too.
Thu Feb 09, 2012 10:50 pm
We were probably never meant to read that much into it anyway.
