ESPN College hoops has a good practice system, where you can practice with the starting lineup, its pretty sick.

They need to do the like Madden training camps with the mini-games. For rebounding, they could throw up a brick and you as the player have to box out a computer player and get the rebound. Or you could do shooting drills (with spots on the floor like that horrible 2 ball game). You can do a passing mini game like madden where you pass through hoops. And you can practice blocking by having computer playhers come into the lane and you just try to block the shots.

I wish they would add Summer League games so over the off-season you could send some rookies, some bad players (can't send superstars over) to the summer league games to improve their ratings or something. You can sim it or play it and then look at their stats, what scouts think about their play, ect. If you like them, sign them to a 10 day and see if they can earn it.

IMO, I think EA could spend more time with other areas than create a drill-like mode. All the shooting drills and dribbling drills can easily be done in practice mode. The blocking, rebounding, and passing happens all the time in the game. Practice by scrimmaging in a few exhibition games and shoot around in practice mode, and you won't need a drill mode in the end.
