Could you please make it write "NBA Friday" or whatever day it is under the scoreboard ?

Something like this ?

Someone can put the link of an espn mode from last year?, so I can insert the logos to nba 2k12 by myself

You could find some logos in King_12's earlier "ESPN scoreboard". http://downloads.moddingway.com/file/15677.html

I´ll check that. I guess I can make it a bit transparent with a little gradient so they will look darker and team names like Lakers one will look better.

Thx fella. I don't say that this ESPN sb. is bad u know but without gradient it looks a bit ammm, not solid :)

Leftos wrote:Meh, it's so rare that I don't think you should make it a priority.

Oh, and by the way, I think you should leave the "NBA BASKETBALL" below the scoreboard as a last priority, since people may want to use the scoreboard for NCAA mods and such, and editing NBA BASKETBALL to be NCAA BASKETBALL I guess could be trouble

And by the way, what are those 6 rectangles? Are they there all the time, or are they something that changes? If they change during the game in real life, I don't think they would serve any purpose in the game, since you can't actually change the game's coding to make them change like real life.

Sir Leftos, I think that yellow rectangles represents the timeouts left by the team. Of course, one small rectangle will disappear if the team called for a timeout. :D

No it won't, because NBA 2k12 doesn't have an animation for that by default.

_________

About the scoreboard, great work, I'll test it later (NFL playoffs today, so I won't play NBA 2k12 now)

NBA2Kway, are you planning on getting the stats overlays in-line with the scoreboard? So that the stat overlay's right edge is in line horizontally with the scoreboard's right edge, or even centered horizontally to the scoreboard? I like the centered idea best. Like so:

After (right edge in line)

Well moving to left or right it will take weeks  . I mean there are more than 200 lines of codes and we have to do it one by one.
Still i don´t understand well how those numbers work. Moving up or down was easy but I don´t understand yet the logic of numbers when moving left or right.

I appreciate all the work and I know the Espn scoreboard was a headache do you plan on starting the NBC scoreboard soon that one looks way easier and is very important for a lot or our retro 90's mods

Is it possible to make the colors in the background of where the team abbreviation is displayed darker? It would look much more solid.

Hmmm. I get what you mean.

So, is there no middle ground? Like, moving the ESPN scoreboard to the right (instead of moving the stat overlays to the left) so that it's still in line with the stat overlays, and they don't look so out of place?

And about the 200 separate lines that you need to edit; if you make a list of all the hex offsets that you need to edit each time regarding position, and if you want to move, say for example, the scoreboard 10 units to the right, wouldn't you just "add 10" to the value in each offset? Is there no way to automate something like that with a script or a tool?

I'd be willing to create a tool for you that will automate some of the hex editing, if you provide me with all the offsets that you need to change each time.

That's what I thought as well, and that's why I'm offering my services to NBA2Kway. If he has too much trouble manually editing the same positions in the file time and time again even for minor adjustments, all he has to do is send me all the hex offsets he changes each time categorized, and I'll make him a tool that will automate all that.

@Bliss: It's not his fault Clippers' color is pink. That's a roster issue, as all rosters so far have the Clippers Team Color 1 as that pinkish tone you see. You'll have to ask the roster makers to fix that.

Same here with NBA TV v2.

I don´t know why I can´t get that stat report to appear when playing a match.
I´ve tried in Association, Quick game but it does never appear.

Wow how come the scoreboard is so placed to the left in yours?
Which resolution do you play?

I play on a 5:4 monitor with 1280x1024 resolution and it's on left on my screen too. Can you do another version for non-wide resolutions?

Try to look for it before the halftime break between 2nd/3rd quarters. For me, it's always there ;)
