GSW committed $16million to Brown and Biedrins this year
Wed Dec 14, 2011 11:31 am
What are they thinking? 7 million?
Wed Dec 14, 2011 11:36 am
Looks like Golden State won.
Seriously though, 7 million? Are you kidding me?!

What a joke, Kwame is gonna be laughing.

"Kwame Brown takes his rape allegations, disorderly conduct and idiot face to Minnesota"

Seven million dollars??? At least it's only one year.

Turiaf approves of this signing:
I know, I've used this video a few times

For one year, it's an excellent signing, jokes aside.

Uhoh... There goes another serviceable big man off the market for the Heat. And we're still left with 6-7 center, Fat Curry, and Dexter who will average 15 fouls a game.
This Kwame guy had an OK regular season but his tendency to disappear in the playoffs gotta go. Perhaps a loss is not really a loss for the Heat after all.

- $7mil for kwame
- $10mil /yr for deandre jordan
- $14mil /yr for tyson chadler
Makes me wonder what the lockout was for.

I'm inclined to agree. It's a decent enough move with no long term risk. Gotta give him credit for being able to hang around, even if he is bouncing around the league pretty much year to year.

Excellent? Really?
They're paying $7 million to Kwame Brown.

Heat fan trying to rationalize the fact that the Heat missed out on the 3rd best big man in the NBA unable to partner him with the 2nd best bigman in the NBA, the greatness that is Joel Anthony.
If anyone of you don't know who is the 1st, he'll come to your house and have his way with your sisters/wife.

I don't see how anyone can view this signing as excellent? Kwame flat-out CAN'T play.
Thu Dec 15, 2011 2:42 am
There's no risk, really. He's had three decent seasons out of ten, but a decent season from a defensive center is worth $7 million. If he really sucks, then he's a $7M expiring.

Exactly. I'd stop short of calling it excellent myself, but it's at least decent with no long term risk.

I was thinking about Dr. Seth yesterday, how does he feel about the Clippers offseason transacations?
