Exhibition games - planned to be played in Puerto Rico, London, Macau, Melborune!
If they come to Melborune, I am definitely flying down to see this. I have two of my last ever uni exams on the following week but I could never miss this. Damn... I am freaking excited!
Other Aussies - try and keep this updated with any new devleopments.
I don't want to miss my chance to get a ticket!

Melbourne's a fair trek but that'd be difficult to pass up.

Definitely. If we get a few of us going, we could have an NLSC meet and greet!

I'm pretty damn excited... just need to get some money together for it.

Doesn't the article say that a bunch of players are coming (including D-Wade)? Even if it was just Kobe, it'd be worth checking out. I can admit that and there's no way I'd ever call myself a Kobe Bryant fan. For people in Australia, it's quite possibly the only chance to see him play without a television. That in itself is a big deal for any basketball fan I'd think.

Correct. This will be the only time I will probably ever see Kobe Bryant play during his career and in person. Still worth it even though he is slightly on the wrong side of his prime.
That's why I am going to go even though I have 2 big final exams the following week.

Sounds like a plan.
The fact that the lockout is looking as though it will last a while is on the whole a downer, but as far as silver linings go this would be an awesome opportunity.

Good for you all.If it does happen, try to take advantage of it.I remember in 96 when the all-star game was here,my brother took me to some nba jam session event the day before but got there a little bit early to watch the all-star teams come out of their practice and walk to their bus.I remember being in shock seeing Ewing,Jordan,Barkley and Olajuwon.

What do you guys think would happen if I ask Kobe to sign my Fisher jersey?
Fri Oct 21, 2011 6:53 pm
Really Sit? You couldn't spare one of your three Kobe jerseys?

Did you get Paul a Caron Butler?
I can get all our Lakers jerseys signed

No way man... I'm trying to get invited to have dinner with his family! They can adopt-an-Asian that night!
badreligionau wrote:Really Sit? You couldn't spare one of your three Kobe jerseys?

Goes without saying they will be in my backpack. I wanna see if he can sign my home Fish and alternate Bryant jerseys.

Paul's got a Payton one. I got a Shaq & Butler one. $5 each in LA for swingman, couldn't pass it up.
Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:39 pm
I want a Payton jersey.
Sat Oct 22, 2011 10:16 pm
He'd give you his Lakers one if he's still got it, although I think you're talking Sonics' version.
