Kevin Durant for MVP?

As the season pulls to a close, Kevin Durant looks set to be a lock for the NBA's MVP award. He is the league's leading scorer and playing for the best team in the league. The case against him is the brilliance of his fellow teammates. Reshawn Tyson is averaging close to 25, 5 and 5 while Andrew Bogut is the focal point of the offense as the ball always goes through him and is putting up great around the board numbers - one of the best all-around seasons in NBA history for a player at his position.

Durant's main competitors for the award are Lebron James and Moses Chara. Which of these brilliant 3-men will be crowned MVP?

Durant: "I'm the best player in the league right now. Period. This my team baby and we are winning it all. It's a no-brainer right there. I'm the MVP. Motherfucking MVP!"

Approaching a Team Record in Wins for a Season

The question is not whether the team is going to set a new team record for wins in a season - the question is how many wins will Seattle finish with? The Stealth are aiming to get over the 65 mark but will Coach Karl rest some of his players down the stretch in a season that has seen them work so hard from start to finish of every game of the season?

The Stealth are not going to be beaten for the first as they recently became the first team to clinch a playoff berth and look likely to clinch their division title very very soon. Coach Karl can afford to let his players have a rest but to set a new franchise record as the 'Stealth' is not something that can happen often.

Coach Karl: "Our goal is to win the title. Team records don't mean anything to me. If it's in the best interest in the team to rest guys then that's what I am inclined to do."

Reshawn Tyson picked up the phone and dialed the number. 'This is ridiculous', he thought. 'Now I know I'm crazy.'
A man with an old-sounding voice picked up the phone. "Your brother is not dead. Meet me at the hospital in an hour. You know which one."
An hour later...
An older man wearing a lab coat shook Sit's hand and led him to a private room. He locked the door. "Good. You're here. Sit down, Mr. Tyson"
Reshawn was impatient. "I'm listening."
"Well, it turns out Tayshawn wasn't your brother after all."
Reshawn knew that his brother's death being faked was too good to be true. There's no way Moses would go this far - and Tayshawn going through with it. It didn't make sense. Nonetheless, he punched the doctor in the face.

Rasheed looked at his watch and grinned. "My favorite time. You got a light, man?"
"God damn it Sheed we have a dead body on our hands and you want to get high??!!"
Rasheed shrugged. "You sold it to me man!"
He was suddenly silent. He whispered, "hey man, are those sirens?"

Reshawn thought for a second. "Wait, so you said my brother wasn't dead. If Tay wasn't...?"
The old man coughed. "Yes. Come in, Kevin."
Kevin Durant entered the room with Ty's dad.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Vince tipped his glass against Sit’s and the two drank to a successful year for Seattle. Thompson then told Sit some interesting news.
“Did you hear man?”
“Hear what?” Sit asked in reply.
Vince stated, “Our old mate…”
Vince paused and Sit urged him to continue. He was curious.
“… Aaron Karl is back.”
