Harrison Barnes struggled early on while still managing to still scoring a 18 points. Leslie McDonald & Kendall Marshall had 34 points combined while John Henson added 10 points and 9 rebounds, but North Carolina shot 45 percent and never looked like the team that had won 7 of 8 games. FINAL SCORE
Duke | 41 | 51 | 92
Vandy | 42 | 34 | 76
A surprising performance by Austin Rivers on the last game of the Tip-Off Marathon, with just 5pts! Shooting just 2-7 we asked him what happened. This is what he had to say, "I just wasn't feelin it tonight, John Jenkins was playing good D but even in warmups I wasn't into it. My legs felt weak i guess im just outta energy you can say." Duke's very own Mason Plumlee & Seth Curry kept the game alive they both combined for 53 points. On Vanderbilt's side the junior guard John Jenkins is raising eyebrows this season as well as his "Draft Stock" scoring 17 points.
