If there's a last name for them in the speech files, it can be assigned. Usually it's assigned automatically once you enter the last name in Create-a-Player.

Failing that, you can see which common surnames are present in the speech files by opening up the cpan.dbf file under the originaldb folder. You'll also see the ID they've been assigned, which can be used in the SPEECHID field.

Well see the problem is when I create a player(Rookies) i cant give them a CF they only have the default CAP even after i edit ISCREATED..

The assigned SPEECHID - as long as it's valid - will still work as well.

Nope. Just a little tip: if you don't see a download link, it's not available. If there's no announcement or bulletin, I have nothing new to report at present.

is there a way to view all the player speech id file available in live 08? i just notice that even player's not in live 08 anymore like vin baker, brian grant, jim jackson and others still have a complete speech id.

Not really. The best way is to look back at the roster files from previous games and note a player's SPEECHID.

how about assigning speech id for arena? example i created a new team with a new court and i want the announcer to call my arena staples center or madison square garden, what value should i copy or edit to do that? thanks!

That's controlled by LOCATIONID. Refer to location.dbf for the ID you want to use.

Hi. I'm from Poland, i installed full roster 4.1 folowing instruction, and rosters 2011 dosent work in dynasty, when i start dynasty , it start with daefault rosters. How to play in dynasty with your 2011 roster Andrew?

Make sure you select "No" for the 2007 Draft option.
