teams are allowed to sign a player to a contract equal to the average NBA salary, even if the team is over the salary cap already, or if the signing would put them over the cap. This is known as the Mid-level exception (MLE). The MLE...is available to any team that exceeds the salary cap at the beginning of the offseason.

Team not exceeding the cap or the MLE signing would still make the team below the cap, no go.

puttincomputers has been banned from the nlsc.

´Hi, i am "semi" active at the moment. I ll be honest i dont have much time at the moment follow all Associations and compete on NLSC tournaments.

So if you have another draftee who is more active , set him instead of me.

So I have 2-1/2 spots in the 2012 draft (Radioman has said he's semi-active). Mark. and King Dee are no shows (so far), and puttin has a "spokesperson" so his spot is still intact. Dmastawwe, you didn't PM your application, so unfortunately I can't give you dibs in 2012. However, since you would be the first 2013 applicant, least I could do is give your player a 70+ overall rating when the time comes as a consolation prize.

So with 2-1/2 spots left, here's whom I would ideally like to save spots for, and why:

KidJustin (very active reader, comments are fun to read)
badreligionau (the sole reason I got into story-writing in the first place. Though he doesn't comment much, (according to him) he still follows)
hova- (A maybe. I'm not sure if he still checks into the forum every now and then, obviously he doesn't have much time to comment, but it's up to him)
shadowgrin (always active, and for the lulz)
Mavs4Life (another active reader)
Martti. (active, and been a reader since my first story. Not sure if he's into this one as much as my last one, but the opportunity is there)

There is no guarantee that all of the aforementioned will get a spot in the 2012 draft, it's just if they are interested. Anyone else who wants in can send an application (which is here), but just know that those mentioned have first dibs. So remember, 2-3 spots left.

I shall hopefully be able to finish preseason by this weekend and get an update up. If time allows, I will be speeding this up as well.
