Dec. 26 @ Dallas - Dwight Howard tallied 29 points, 11 rebounds and shot an efficient 11-of-17 from the field, as Orlando pounded Dallas, 133-113. Despite displaying poor performance from the free throw line (18-32), Magic shot better than the Mavericks from the field, 53% compared to 46%. Jordan Hamilton returned from his injury with a bang and scored 25 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals, while Gilbert Arenas had his first start of the season, produced 26 points and dished 10 assists and made five steals, he shot a poor 12-of-26 though. New acquisition Danny Granger is limited to only 11 points due to an injury. Caron Butler led the Mavs by his 29 points while Jason Terry added 22.

Dec. 27 @ Bucks - Magic visit next the Milwaukee Bucks and cruised them past easily. Jordan Hamilton followed his 25-point performance against the Mavericks and scored now a career-high 30 points on a 12-of-18 shooting as Orlando defeated the Bucks, 103-93. Dwight Howard netted 21 points for the Magic who shot 48% from the floor. Howard also had nine rebounds and four blocks. Brandon Jennings scored 31 points to pace the Bucks. Delonte West added 19, while Andrew Bogut had a double-double, 15 points and 14 boards. Bucks shot 39% from the floor and committed 16 turnovers compared to Magic's 6. They outrebounded the Magic though, 48-40.

Dec. 29 vs. Lakers - In their first meeting of the season against the Los Angeles Lakers, Dwight Howard made sure that they will able to grab the win, and they did. Howard put on a magnificent performance by scoring 37 points, grabbing 8 boards, dishing four assists and recording five steals, a season-high for him as Orlando beat the Lakers, 104-97. Jordan Hamilton broke his career-high in points by just one game, this time he scored 32 points, he shot 13-of-18 from the floor and made 3-of-5 of his three-point attempts. Danny Granger continued to struggle because of his injury and was limited to only nine points, on an awful 3-of-11 shooting. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers by his 22 points while Allen Iverson poured in 18. Magic had a comfortable 16-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Lakers 14-2 run halfway made the game closer. Magic pounded the paint more and produced 64 compared to Lakers' 36.

Kobe is like "WTF? another Jordan I have to live up to?"

I like this recap style. Seems as if all three games were easy, even the Lakers one up until the fourth quarter. Great to see another Texas product in Jordan Hamilton shining.
