As the name would imply, it confirms that there are Euroleague teams in the game, specifically Panathinaikos BC, Montepaschi Siena, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Real Madrid. Check it out here:

who are the players on the teams? or have they not been named yet?
Wed Aug 31, 2011 1:12 pm
They haven't been named yet. I don't follow Euroleague, so I don't immediately recognise anyone.

i'm guessing we might see a few players that went back to europe who played in the NBA

Possibly, though if it's only two or three players per team they might've acquired the likeness rights.

well, i don't keep up with the teams, but i'm thinking like Spanoulis or Jasikevicius here.
Wed Aug 31, 2011 6:05 pm
Well there's Diamantidis and Batiste from Panathinaikos in the trailer.
Spanoulis has gone since last year to panathinaikos' biggest rivals, and the team i support, Olympiakos, while Jasikevicious has gone to Turkey,i think to Fenerbahce...
Sucks that they didn't include Olympiakos in the teams...

Maybe those Euroleague teams will be featured in the future EA Sports titles, in addition to the FIBA teams???

that would be pretty awesome, but right now, I'm just happy they are in Jam. The game looks awesome

I'm guessing Turkish Airlines footed the bill to have their brand featured in the game and for the Euroleague teams' license fees. iirc Turkish Airlines is one of the corporate sponsors for Deron Williams' salary with Besiktas?

I believe you're right. Certainly could be the case.
