I enjoyed the different spin on the "X day(s) from retirement" joke, too.

Another fine episode, the ending was kind of predictable but fun all the same, their reaction was pretty funny in its coldness. Probably Zoidberg's finest hour, too.

That was the only episode I can remember where he wasn't just a hobo, except the one where they went to his home planet.

I wonder if they'll follow Family Guy's lead and release the episode uncensored on DVD.

Not a big fan of musical/singing episodes. Kinda guessed that Leela was getting her ideas from wherever her 'quiet place' was too.

Yeah not bad, but not quite as good or funny as the last couple of eps. Fry's "I bedazzle my own underpants" line was pretty good though. Also, I feel strangely compelled to mention the distinct lack of the Hypnotoad.

Last time I watched this show was when they cancelled it like 8 years ago so I decided to start re-watching from the beginning as I barely remember it.

Agreed, that was great. I wouldn't have minded if it were an hour long episode so they could've shown them restoring history but as it was, it worked for the final joke.

It felt like they tried to cram a little too much into that one leading to a rushed ending, but still an entertaining ep.

Last couple of episodes have been hilarious.

Another great episode, thinking back it's weird they haven't explored the idea of Fry bringing back the common cold before. They're on a roll right now.

That would've worked as a great open-ended finale had the show not been renewed, however they've really been hitting their stride with the second half of Season 6 so I'm glad they're coming back for more. Next week they're having an Anthology of Interest-type episode to close out the season.

it's about time they went back to that storyline. seems like they touch on it and then next week forget it ever happened

Agreed, I'd like to see them make it a part of the continuity every week rather than just acknowledging it when it suits them. It doesn't have to be the focus of every episode, just a running storyline that's there in the background to be used for a joke or plot every so often.

8-bit Futurama kicked ass.

Yeah it was probably the best segment but a fine episode all around. "You know what your problems is? Too much smoke in your face!"
