i think the same mod asked me to remove my .gif sig which was just 10kb.Smaller than the one i use now.He said no .gif like it is a big file.

LMAO! That's just plain stupid! I know gifs are forbiden, but there shouldn't be a question about what format, pic or vid, it should be a question more about size

Moderators are there to re-inforce the rules, if the rules say no Gif's, no gif's. Don't diss the mods for re-inforcing the rules. If you have a problem with a moderator go to the forum administrator, if you've got a case, he'll see to it that everything is sorted out.
If the moderator felt the "nuts" were inappropriate, he has every right to ask you to remove it. If you disagree, and find it totally non offensive, take it up with higher authority. Don't go bashing him on the forums.
Homer, it's not the moderators fault, rules state no animations/gif's. The mods will do their best to get rid of all gif's or animations. If the rules said Gif's under 15 kb allowed, you had a case...the rules dont state that, they state: No gif's or animations, none whatsoever...be it 1 MB or 5 KB, it isn't allowed means it isnt allowed. I'm sure the administrator had good reason for making that rule, keeping in mind that Gif's can have a size of 5 KB.
