Jordan Sign NLSCer

Jordan Brand has just announced that Jerome Barkhorn, aka Warlock, has become the newest member of the Jordan Brand family. Jordan Brand felt that Barkhorn is the perfect model for their new campaign The Project From The Projects, which is part of a foundation to help under privileged kids get a chance at a better life. Barkhorn was born and raised in Stanton Island and kept out of trouble while attending Liberty CC and now has a chance to make a career for himself in the NBA.

Silver-Light, not guaranteed...he is projected to be in the top 5, he is the #1 NLSCer and a shoe deal is one of the perks of finish on top (its in detail on the first page)

George7, we'll just have to see how the story turns....if u become the "bad guy" it might be because that's what the people vote for

Thierry •, thank you  coming from the master of doing extra stuff on their association, i appreciate it very much (Y)

[CYOA] - Offseason Central - Draft Combine

DRAFT COMBINE

The prospects have been all measured out at the draft combine and a few even got together and ran a 5-on-5 scrimmage game. The NBA scouts are please with the talent with this young class. And now with the 2011 NBA Draft presented by KIA just around the corner, NBA teams have been inviting various prospects in for workouts to take an addition look at them.

Draft Combine 5-on-5 Scrimmage:

White:Blue:
PG:Jerome Barkhorn - Liberty CityPG:Kyrie Irving - Duke
SG:Harrison Barnes - North CarolinaSG:George Koukoulis - Greece
SF:Derrick Williams - ArizonaSF:Albano Spagnoletti - Argentina
PF:Zee Otoo - NC StatePF:Jared Sullinger - Ohio State
C:Justin Jones - BaylorC:Valdis Iesalnieks - UCLA

FINAL SCORE: WHITE TEAM 12 - BLUE TEAM 7

The WHITE team looked like they were in complete control during the scrimmage right from the beginning when Liberty City's Jerome Barkhorn stopped a pass to Greece's George Koukoulis and lead to teammate Zee Otoo, from NC State, to get out and dunk it in the wide open lanes. Ohio State standout Jared Sullinger would find UCLA product Valdis Iesalnieks on the next play to a quick inside post move. But Inesalnieks just about disappeared the rest of the game after that play. The BLUE team's Koukoulis also struggled early, including missing an alley-oop dunk thrown by teammate Kyrie Irving, but Koukoulis would hit a open shot from beyond the arc to cut the lead to one. It was Duke's Kyrie Irving, who is projected to go #1 in the draft that struggled the most amongst all the prospects, possibly having a hard time against a much taller Barkhorn. The long star shinning for the BLUE team was Argentina's Albano Spagnoletti, who showed the ability to move the ball as well as score from almost anywhere on the floor. For the WHITE team, the Power Forward from Baylor, Justin Jones was a big surprise, especially since he had to play center most of the game. That did not stop he from being wreaking havoc on boards and blocking shots, his hustle has really turned a lot of heads and this workout could very well improve his draft stock. Otoo and Barkhorn were the other defensive presences for the WHITE team that limited their opponents to low scoring, as they both collected steal after steal. The duo seemed to form a connection, as they both found each other in great positioning almost each time. Barkhorn, a top 5 talent in the coming draft, ended the game with a simple dribbled up the court, stop and pop, draining a quick shot from beyond the arc before the defense could even setup.

@George7: @Ch4os, bring it on!! I'm open to every challenge!

I think on the tweet we should have our names without @, just having the @ to the name of a person we're reffering to...
