Chapter IV: An Invitation

Clippers' Training Facility in Playa Vista, CA -DTS's Office

KJ, "DUCK!....."

DTS, "Oh no thank you, I ate already"

....

KJ looks around and it seems like nothing happened

DTS, "KidJustin, get up from there and get to work! And you, Andy...I will be in the tub. Go get the sponges."

AR steps out of the office and DTS goes into the bathroom, while KJ looks around confused.

KJ, "I guess it was nothing..."

KJ walks out of the office and right when the closes the door.....

BOOM! A small explosion busts the door down knocking KJ to the ground.

AR comes running to KJ and helps him get up.

KJ, "Ohhh...What happen?"

AR, "I think it was that briefcase, I already called 911...Where's Mr. Sterling??"

AR runs into the office, which now looks like a mess with everything tossed around and a few small fires still lit

AR, "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

KJ quickly gets up and runs to see what happened, "What? What did you find!?"

DTS coughing and groaning as he laid in the bathtub....naked.

AR, "Here boss" as he threw him a towel half burn

DTS, "Ah you fool! Its still hot!"

KJ looking away and trying to keep himself from gagging, "Oh. I see why you screamed now...."

The police and fire department come to cleanup and investigate. Getting reports from DTS, AR, and KJ.

AR, "Don't worry KidJustin. I can take care of all of this. I know you have a lot to do, you can go. I can take care of it."

KJ, "Alright, just call me if anything."

AR, "Yea, be careful. They said they couldn't tell who the target was...."

Just as KJ steps away from the police, his phone rings

KJ looks at the caller ID..."George Koukoulis-Bulls"

KJ, "Hello?"

George Koukoulis, "Hey! How have you been? I haven't really talked to you since you got kidnapped."

KJ, "Yea, I've been busy dealing with stuff around here..."

GK, "Really? Like what? Anything explosive?"

KJ, "Naw..wait, what?"

GK, "Nothing. Hey you should come out. I'm in LA. We can go to a bar and have a few beers."

KJ, "I didn't know you Europeans were into our beers, I thought of you more of a wine drinker...plus I've got a lot of work to do."

GK, "Trust me, just come out and relax...I'm sure Ol' Don is busy counting his money...that stingy mofo...he wont care"

KJ, "I don't know..."

GK, "Look just come. I'll text you the location. See yea."

KJ thinking to himself, "That was kind of weird.....hmm...I haven't even got to work on looking to re-sign anyone or got a good look at the draft. But after today I really do need a drink...What should I do...?"
