so is it possible that we can add mvp chants and other sounds in game by importing sound files etc. in nba 2k10 or 2k9?

I doubt it, at least not the way we'd want it implemented; we're very limited when it comes to editing the sound files in NBA Live 08. You could probably include chants of "M-V-P!" in one of the arena ditties so that it appears the crowd is chanting along to the action but it wouldn't really be chanted at an appropriate time (for example when a player is at the free throw line and is worthy of the chant).

^^In that case, I can't imagine the crowd chanting MVP for Brian Scalabrine

Maybe other sound files? like they are shouting eeee-oohhh... or we want tacos.

No. Like I said, we're limited in what we can work with as far as sound goes and Audy 06 is not compatible with NBA Live 08's files.

No idea, sorry. As far as I know we can still edit the arena ditties, but not arena speech (the PA announcer) or the commentary files.

why some new guys (thinking Live 08 date release) like Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans has their name spoken by Marv Albert and old ones not?

I know that for the new comers probably is used homonyms surnames so is it possible to use the "Hill" of Grant to George, for example?

NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08 both have a bank of common surnames that are automatically assigned when you create a player (or can be manually assigned through DBF editing).

Not sure, I wasn't aware that it isn't working. The surname Hill is definitely in the database and George Hill's SPEECHID is set to 5191 in the rosters, so it should be called; everything's as it should be.

By the way, you can check out a list of names that will be called by opening the cpan.dbf file in the originaldb database folder. As far as I know they all work, but I haven't tried them all out so perhaps some of them don't. Come to think of it, that might explain what's going on with George Hill and the 5191 ID.

I've taken a look at the TUP roster and his SPEECHID is already set to 5191; if that's not working then there's probably not much else that can be done, since we can't edit PA announcer speech or commentary in NBA Live 08.

thanks for fixing the link, but i still have the same problem, i can't figure out what file do i need to open and change to make a new chant for the crowd like in your example of MVP chant? and yes i was able to use the tool to change the music track but i really want a new chant if it's really possible. can you teach how? thanks!

You cant.It is possible but the people that created the tools/software are not here in the forum anymore and they never released them.
