My bad about the age
You will be a Top 10 pick... if you have good workouts. That was just the first mock!Houndy wrote:Holy crap, 6th
I'm happy
As I said to dare, you will have to make good workouts to keep that position...Axel. wrote:If I do end up going 17th to the Pacers, they will have themselves a huge draft steal.
NCAA Finals MVP going 17th, that's a huge steal.Mavs4Life wrote:Are applications open for next year's draft? Predrag Rodic, the next big foreign sensation
Yes they are, check Page 4 for it and send it to me via PM... then I'll tell you what teams you have available.Larvae wrote:Congratz on your 2,000 replies!

Yes you can, but as I said, that's a first mock... now workouts coming... a second mock... and the draft. Anything can happen!Valor wrote:Gratz on the milestone man, keep it up!
Shuuuhh, we want him to keep going and never retire this! This is great stuff!
Thanks a lot V... I'll retire it when 2K12 comes out.

Nah, not very long and similar to the 1000th, I had to study for school and didn't have any free time.Cruzerr wrote:His post will be " I have made about 60 new associations, and I regret none of them." or smt like that
Congratz.
Actually, I don't regret any of them. They put me where I am now.

Congratulations on keeping this one going.

Let's see if you can get through season 2!

Congrats on the milestone, Thierry.

You now become the third (?) person to reach 2K on this forum behind Sit and badreligionau. Looks like a vaccine for Thierryitis has been found.

Not only have you kept this going for a long time, but also, you kept this going as one of the best stories on the board. Congrats again.
Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:14 am
Congrats. I still don't understand how you came up with the name "Paradise Garage" for season 2, but it is nonetheless an impressive feat.
Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:17 am
Thierryitis is banned. Now its clevelandwinsing or houndy-someshit
Wed Jul 13, 2011 10:24 am
As Sit said waiting for season 2, congrats man

This dynasty is awesome

Congratulations on eclipsing 2000. A truly amazing milestone considering your previous efforts. Glad San Antonio was the team you stuck with as well. Hope you can win TD ring number 5

Nice job on reaching 2000 replies. I should really spend more time following this, your presentation is amazing.

Good luck with season 2.

Congrats bro. Never thought you'll go this far. Serves as an inspiration for me. Keep it up
Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:52 pm
The thank you post would have been better if you didn't include those horrible Jimmy Fallon vids.
Thu Jul 14, 2011 12:29 pm
Woohoo, I made the list! Barely. Heh, seems about right. Thanks.
Congratulations on the 2K. I've only been around for the last couple months of your thread or so, but I'm looking forward to reading the NEXT 9.

Bill surprised most of our staff with his great physical package: size, strength and athleticism, all in a 255-pound package. Despite that weight, he is extremely skilled and versatile for a small forward. He’s good at keeping his balance, which gives him a good chance to convert in traffic. He has a refined scoring touch: he knows how to put the ball in the hoop, and proved that he is very comfortable handling the ball, even in transition while going full speed. Bill also has an advanced arsenal moves: hesitations, crossovers and spins, and won't forgive if you give him space outside: he has a lot of confidence in his 3-point shot, and proved that he has range. He is aggressive going to the glass -- using his size and length.
Despite all those good points, Bill has not yet proven that he has the killer instinct to take over a game; at points, he depends on his strength too much. He has a smooth release, but he takes too long to get his feet set. Also his stance is off balance, which forces him to shoot fadeways even when he doesn’t need to. Defensively he has all the tools to defend a number of positions, but he will need to work on that. Not reliable from the charity stripe: struggling at 70 percent. He needs to learn to control the tempo better and melt with the pace of the team. With Cincinnati, he took a lot of bad shots early in the shot clock. Defensively, he is foul prone, but with his length and package he should be able to overcome this issues.

Artem's strength is in his defense: this is where he will make his money. Shot blocking skills are top shelf: he averaged 2.9 blocks per game with Fenerbahce Ulker last season, including a double-double of 14.1 points and 10.0 rebounds. For a 7-footer, he has impeccable timing and athleticism. He is extremely mobile and has tremendous lateral quickness for someone his size. Does a great job of getting initial post position by using his body wide. Physically he has all the tools needed to continue with his long arms and first-rate timing. Unlike many rookies, he has learned to be a very patient shot blocker that rarely bites on pump fakes. Very coachable. Has yet to even scratch the surface of his potential: his upside is tremendous. Expect his point average to drop in the NBA; at worst, he will be a force inside as a rebounder and shot blocker.
Has zero mid-range shooting: he can be wide-open in the mid-range area and still pass the ball to a teammate. He shot just below 70 percent from the free throw line, but shoots it with confidence and an excellent motion for a bigman; he should be able to increase that number throughout his career. Has good body strength, but toughness seems to be a point to look at in the future. Will need to beef up about 10 pounds more, but needs to maintain his lateral quickness and athleticism. He also needs to work on defending the pick and roll; gets tangled and confused easily on this aspect. Finally, Artem needs to be able to pass the ball out of the double-team a little better.

Benjamin has proved to be a steady and consistent scoring threat: he added new dimensions to his game in this last year. As much as he brings in terms of offense (14.3 points with Northern Iowa), his vision and playmaking may be his most impressive attributes: he knows when he has to be a facilitator and when to take over the scoring load. His array of moves includes: a a nice crossover, ins & outs, and behind the back dribbles. His jumper has been better each year of his school career. He's consistent from the outside; one could say one of the best 3-point shooters in this draft. Has good balance and body control when finishing around the basket, becoming a difficult matchup, because he looks to take advantage of mismatches.
Benjamin is 2 years older than his class (23), taking off some potential for growth. He has become turnover prone with the Panthers, but this is mostly a result of being asked to do too much by the coaching staff. Undersized at the SG position, his playstyle is a little more of a small forward. Has solid length and athleticism, but nothing extraordinary, making his lack of height a liability. Tends to focus more on the offensive end of the floor as he lacks great defensive skills. Must develop a greater desire and focus on the defensive end of the floor. His game is not overly smooth, at times he looks mechanical and as if he’s thinking through his move, rather than just playing with the game flow. Has games where his shot is not falling and it completely throws him off: if it's not his day, he has a hard time playing out of it.

Wow thanks man. Will and Kenny are tops in the forums, hopefully I can reach something like that.Lamrock wrote:Congrats. I still don't understand how you came up with the name "Paradise Garage" for season 2, but it is nonetheless an impressive feat.
Thanks a lot man, you've always been there, both bad and good times. "Paradise Garage" was the name of a nightclub in New York in the 70's and 80's; now it is a famous party here in Argentina in the electronic scene, my favorite music genre as you all know. I applied that to the AT&T Center; one of my goals is to win 85%+ of my games at home in the regular season and then win the championship with the fans.

Houndy did better. Cleveland wins, where is he?

Thanks Kenny, your dynasty is one of my all-time favorites. TD will win one more ring before he retires, you can put your money on that.Phil89 wrote:Nice job on reaching 2000 replies. I should really spend more time following this, your presentation is amazing.

Hey, thanks a lot Phil! I should check your Thunder more regularly too, will try to

Next 9? Nah, that would be hard.z02 wrote:I thought we would never see this day. Congrats man!
Me too man, me too...
Thanks!I'd pick Popov first if he's available. Blake is on the 20th's, while Rollins could be a 2nd round pick. Later -- second mock draft with changes on the picks. FFXIII is taking all my free time.
Fri Jul 15, 2011 4:07 am
The Roots are, not Jimmy.
Fri Jul 15, 2011 4:35 am
Trade for a lottery pick or draft good SG/SF like Benjamin.
Fri Jul 15, 2011 8:00 am
Ben Rollins, you coud use a good backup guard/forward.
Fri Jul 15, 2011 6:29 pm
Popov would be a huge addition to your team if you would be able to pick him
Fri Jul 15, 2011 7:47 pm
Well done good sir. Looking forward to season number two. This dynasty has really silenced your doubters and you have really shown your various talents
Fri Jul 15, 2011 10:48 pm
Nice job on the workouts. I want Popov to play for Popovich.
Goodluck in your second season. Win it all this time.
