Young out for 3 to 4 weeks
Sam Young suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of the Orlando Magic's game against the Lakers, he went to the locker room and never came back. As it was diagnosed later, Young won't play for 3 to 4 weeks and will have to watch his team from sidelines.
Young has been Magic's 6th player with the best outside defensive ability on the team and has played a major role for Orlando. Thus far this season Young averages 6,1 points and 2,4 rebounds per game, but the stats doesn't say it all. He has also done a great job defensively against opponent's best outside players.
Stanley Robinson could see some playing time, during Young's injury and prove Janis Kalnins that he is a capable forward in this league. Thus far Robinson has played in only two games, in which the score was already decided.

Magic dealing J-Rich?
J-Rich may be headed out of Orlando soon
Rumors swirling around the league that Orlando Magic are looking to deal their starting shooting guard Jason Richardson. Reason: Magic's head coach Janis Kalnins isn't satisfied with the 30 year old guard's play on defense. Richardson is averaging 14,6 points and 6,3 assists per game this season.
Sources close to Orlando Magic management say that there are several teams that are willing to take on Richardson, including Minnesota Timberwolves, New Jersey Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Wolves are willing to make a trade centered around Rodney Carney and Darko Milicic, while Nets are willing to deal Travis Outlaw. As sources say the Magic are interested into Wolves offer, but aren't willing to take on Outlaw's contract.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have made a strong offer that includes rookie center B. B. Simpson and veteran guard/forward Joey Graham. The Magic are intrigued the most by this offer, mostly because of Simpson, who could be the reserve center behind Dwight Howard when Kurt Thomas retires, which could happen already after this season.
However, all possible deals including Richardson are taken on hold for now, because of the injury of Sam Young, who is expected to take the starting shooting guard spot from Richardson, when and if he is dealt away.
