Do you believe in the Evloution theory? I'd like to hear your answers.
Me? I don't. God made man in his own image and it was stated in the bible. And I won't accept the possibility that I evolved from apes.

Please stop. Nobody here will take you serious after this. Why? How? Please back up your statements and give details on why you believe in creationism and not evolution. Let's see if you convince me.

Why does he need to
convince you or vice-versa?

viewtopic.php?p=1054696I think the evolution talk starts in page 2 of that thread.

Given that this isn't what evolutionary theory states, there's no need to accept it at all.

Because I want to see if his explanation and his reasons are going to change my thinking dramatically which I doubt he does. Maybe he can convince me with facts and statements about his thesis. I actually didn't really want to use the word convince but I did so anyway.

Here's the thing, you've already lost when you say "believe" regarding evolution. It's not something you can "believe" or not, it just is.
And I won't accept the possibility that I evolved from apes.
See, you've lost again because you've already decided that some single aspect means you have to reject an idea. Not only that but you've made up something and used it to tar a theory that, as koberulz pointed out, doesn't even say that.
I won't accept that we should round up and murder all Jews, gays, women and left-handed people. So I can't believe in Christianity.

Clearly, we are alien souls dumped here on Earth by the mighty Xenu.

Chistianity doesn't state that? Where? Maybe centuries ago when the European countries such as Spain, used Christianity to get rid of those people. I used to practice non-denominational Christianity and no where did they say that.
@
Andrew Agreed. There are life-forms still out there, waitng to make contact with us, and play baskeball against us.

The sentence before the part you quoted.

Ah my bad. I read it the wrong way, and I was thinking about that.

Rayallen20, I'm guessing you don't believe in science?

Creation vs Evolution is just like Religion vs Science but how does science exactly prove evolution?

Evolution theory states that man evolved from apes. I believe in creationism because man didn't evolve from apes because God made man in his own image, for short God made man already as man. It didn't evolve evolution.

No, it doesn't.

And the evidence to the contrary?
Creation vs Evolution is just like Religion vs Science but how does science exactly prove evolution?
Were you trying to make sense and this just came out by accident?

Was that a legit question, or are you just screwing around? Because that's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in quite some time.

Define evolution and define the evolution theory. Then rewrite that sentence and stop pulling things out your arse.

yeah the problem is that it wouldn't (shouldn't?) matter much anyways

Good Gawd if you're going to start a debate, and you're basing your entire reasoning behind one line, at least make sure it's a fact and not something you found in the bathroom stall wall.
Honestly religious debates are pointless. Rational people refer to science, fact, experience, history, tangible, quantifiable arguments. Meanwhile the other people refer to JUST the Bible.
I have no problem with you being ignorant, or expressing your ignorance, but at least understand that this is not an argument:
"The Bible even says so!"

There's a more important part. Actually two.
First, It must be testable. Creationism may very well be the truth but it's not something that can be tested.
Hell, nobody agrees on what the Word of God is so it is impossible to proclaim any such pronouncement as anything except the opinion of a man.
Second, Of course man would think himself created in the image of the ultimate power of the universe. Look at the hubris of man throughout history and continuing.
What if I proposed that cats were created in the image of God. This would be an absolute fact because there is no God but there are Cat Lords but yet most people would deny it for they are not cats. They wish to be descendants of a higher power so they deny the fact that cats are the actual ones and create this delusion that man was created for something other than to serve those left behind by the Cat Lords.
It's quite clear that most people believe there is a simple answer to the world that there can be some sort of God-King who can direct everything by pulling levers. That appeal to authority is a fallacy doesn't apply. It's the same reason we have Keynesian economics and other forms of central planning, not to mention our constant belief we can forever control not just nature locally but globally.
Man has always hated and will always hate the idea he is not the center of the universe and cannot control all of it by himself. One need not evaluate the insanity of "society" but mere everyday things, look at the backlash most people have at the inability to control every aspect of their daily lives and all their personal relationships to their desires.
A God-King to manage everything for us just makes it all easier to deal with.
