I agree, trade him for a later 1st round pick. I promise you 2k's trade logic will pass it.

Havent commented for some time. Seems your PF spot is pretty -.- also. Still, an awesome team ;)

hova- wrote:Hell yeah, Stardust. This song is on my all-time playlist, man! ;) I love Timmy Ds game on this vid, just like IRL, no fancy stuff, but extra effective. I don't like his jumpshot though, doesn't look like his real release.

About Gooden, I don't know, you seem to come along well with him, but I have never been a fan of that trade of McDyess. Basically, McDyess was old and would have retired soon, giving you some space for younger players. Gooden will get older, certainly not better - and - earn a lot of money over the next three years.

That's what he's here to do, all close to the rim. But he made the occasional jumper, that's what I like the most about him.

McDyess -- just saw the retiring players screen and he was there... :| Gooden, yes, has a killing contract, but I play better with him. But hey, anyone except the Big 3 (Manu - TD - Maggs) is on the trading block.

Valdis wrote:Not very good season in scoring for TD, but still career high in steals and blocks. Gooden was a very good back-up for TD. (Y)

Yeah, Tim wasn't there to score, he was there to provide defense and toughness and he did it perfectly, winning his first DPOY. :bowdown2:

He's first on my trading list. Never got used to him.

No problem man. I guess I could try to acquire a PF via trade, I'm looking for a true 7-footer and one more backup SF in the draft.

OK, offseason starting tomorrow with the retiring players list. Expect a revamped look. :cheeky:

Hmm, I wonder if Duncan would be the oldest to win Defensive Player of The Year.

How many blocks did Howard have?

Haha, you spammed the hell out of the pump fake with Duncan! :D Excellent review of every player on your team, great presentation as usual, and the highlights were a nice touch. (Y) Can't wait to see what's in store for the offseason.

Haven't commented here much, but I'm following and just wanted to say that this is a really detailed association, probably the most detailed one here. Great job (Y) Looking forward to the off-season, it's always fun and should be a fun one here too ;)

SAN ANTONIO -- A troublesome right knee has forced Ben Wallace to retire. Wallace puts a final point on a 15-year NBA career that included a NBA championship with the Pistons on 2004, four Defensive Player of the Year Awards, four All-Star selections, three All-NBA Second Team and two All-NBA Third Team spots, five All-Defensive First Team and a All-Defensive Second Team nods. “There have been so many people who have supported me through my career, from players to coaches to fans,” said Big Ben. “I appreciate all the owners, GMs, doctors, equipment managers, trainers, ballkids and staff who not only supported me, but helped propel me to the next level in my game. I do not take your love for granted. I look forward to continuing these relationships in my future basketball and business endeavors with Detroit.” Wallace, 35, finishes his career having averaged 5.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 29.8 minutes per contest in 985 regular-season games with Washington, Orlando, Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher and center Theo Ratliff both announced their retirement from the NBA today. Fisher, 6-1, 210 pounds, averaged 8.9 points and 3.2 assists in 1089 career games. His most productive season came in 2005-06 with the Golden State Warriors, when he averaged 13.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists. “It was fun while it lasted, but my body has gave me all the signs. It's time to hang 'em up,” said Fisher. A 24th-overall selection by the Lakers on the 1996 NBA Draft, Camby played for three teams in his NBA career (Lakers, Warriors and the Utah Jazz). Ratliff, whose defensive play this year made him a fan favorite in Los Angeles, played in 850 games over 16 years, averaging 6.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, including a 12.4-point, 8.3-rebound, 3.7-block season with the Philadelphia 76ers on 2000-01. “It is time to move on to the next stage in my life. My career has been a blessing and I am grateful to have had this experience.”

    Also retiring:

I think he is, but Mutombo may be close too. Dwight had 2.1, Tim had 3.0, I guess that was the biggest factor.

Yeah, I wanted to make sure his points were there. Offseason -- let's see where the NCAA MVP Axel Gomez ends up.

Thanks a lot man! :D There's at least a couple of changes for this team coming.
