thanks for the info. very much appreciated. it worked exactly how you say and now i see how generating the 8 mipmaps make it so you can see the logos in the same spot when zoomed out. it took a little trial and error, but i got the logos imported. and one thing i noticed was when i generated the DDS from a picture with a transparent background (magic wand tool in photoshop and delete the background layer) the logo will appear flush on the court without the square solid color background. looks great on the court.

the question i have is when i change the court logo and import my own logo into mod tool, i notice i get 4 logos on the court. (not the center court logo, you know the other logos that appear between the each 3 point line and the half court line) is there any way to make it so only 2 logos show up on the court instead of 4 so it isn't so cluttered?

me too, modtool doing nothing, i updated java to the newest nothing helps..

I updated the first post with the entire editor updated and packaged into 1 file, to make things easier. And I created a beginners guide to importing/exporting textures with the Mod Tool.

Hi,

great tool, but I have two questions: Which file changes the logo in the middel of th court and how can I change the logo of a team for example on the quickstart display.

Until now I was abel to change a jersey and the logo of a team in the logo021 fill, but it didn't changed on the court... Only on the LED TV. :?:

I hope my English isn't too bad... :oops:

you might want to take a look at the file structure of 2K11
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=75632

court files begin with f and then the teamID number, so f005 is the celtics.

for other logos, you want to edit the logos_large iff file

if you have the international version of the game (ie not North America) some courts use the logo###.iff file for the center logo instead of the floor's logo, just an FYI.

I changed Logos_Large;Medium;Small and it worked well. :D
And Logo021 but it still didn't changed the court center logo. I have a international version (bought in EU), so there is no dds logo fill in the fxxx, only wood. :?

Somthing must be wrong, I changed the logo021 fill and got two fills, one normal and an .iff, which can be opened by Microsoft Editor. :?:

So How can I change the center logo, or better asked ther is the failure.

it should be f021, when you select the bottom texture, hit the dds:0 drop down button to get more textures

is it compatible with win7 64 bit?
cause it doesn't work on my laptop (64-bit win7), but it did work on my pc (32 bit win XP)

it should work on 64-bit, it worked on my laptop which was win7 64-bit iirc.

Just make sure you have your java updated

I need anyone's help... I have reinstalled my PC and when I try to use my Modtool, the application turn as a rar file instead of java file? Everytime I open the Modtool, It opened as a rar application. How can I make it work again as a java file? Badly need help.

BTW, I already updated my java and it's still in rar format. :cry:

right click it (the jar file) Open with.... and choose java runtime rather than winrar

Sir Jao, sorry for being noob but I cant find the exact file of the Java runtime, I have found the Java folder in Program Files but I cant find the correct application to use, there is no Java runtime application in the Java folder... Please help...

for me it opens with C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe, but I think the normal java.exe works too.
