This is what the 2k people replied back with-
(The reason for the game running slow is the chipset that is handling graphics on that system. These games (like most) require a dedicated graphics card, but what that has is an integrated display chipset;
---------------
Display Devices
---------------
Card name: Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset
These merely emulate the features of a graphics card, but fall short on dedicated memory and supported 3D features as they are intended more for general computer use, as opposed to playing games.
You may get improved performance from a driver update. As we can see they are a little out-of-date;
Driver Date/Size: 4/21/2010
You will be able to get these downloaded from either the Intel website or the website of the computer manufacturer, however and upgrade of performance is not a guarantee as it is still not supported.)
So my question is when i go to the site i found a ATV graphics card at HP site i think it was..it said i dont meet minimum requirements?
Also when i right click the icon on the game and select properties..what should i run the game in?..it's in windows xp service pack 3...should i change it to windows 7?

You just basically double posted.

ya i didnt realize it went to another page..my screen had froze..thanks lol...how can i delete it?

You need to invest in a video card rather than using the onboard graphics.
Mon Jun 20, 2011 10:34 am
ok what is onboard graphics...like trying to download an updated version?..would a nvidia or atd card work on this do you know?
Mon Jun 20, 2011 11:04 am
No, you need to get a dedicated video card that is capable of playing 3D games. The hardware you have at the moment isn't good enough.
Mon Jun 20, 2011 11:32 am
can i download them?how would i make it where i dont get the minimum error requirement
Mon Jun 20, 2011 12:15 pm
No, you can't download hardware. Your computer needs to be upgraded to run those games properly, with a dedicated video card. The onboard graphics processor of your motherboard will not suffice for those game's requirements.
Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:05 pm
oh ok..how would i go about fixing this to upgrade it?
Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:20 pm
You're going to have to buy a new video card and install it, or have someone install it. You might want to get in touch with someone in your local area who does computer repairs and upgrades.
Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:28 pm
ok thats what i was thinking...do you think the ATI or NVIDIA ones will work?
Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:39 pm
I prefer nVidia myself but you'd probably find a lot of gamers who can vouch for ATI cards. Shop around, decide how much you want to spend and get the possible card you can for that price; be sure to get something that exceeds the requirements for those games.

ok great..i do too..had one on old computer....thanks for your help i appreciate it...have a good night
Mon Jun 20, 2011 2:17 pm
Do you still have that PC? If your old card is a PCI express card, you could try putting it in the new PC (or get someone to do it for you).
Tue Jun 21, 2011 1:22 am
not sure if it is that card..i think it was a nvidia..i had just upgraded and downloaded a newer version of it
Tue Jun 21, 2011 1:30 am
on my chipset i had on the old one GeForce 6150 LE
Tue Jun 21, 2011 5:10 am
i got HP on chat...ordered a video card and power supply..i also got a walk thru of how to install it..is it hard to do?..it doesnt seem hard and they said i could call and they would walk me thru it...

I'd say installing a new video card is pretty straightforward but I've got a fair bit of experience working on computers and installing hardware. If you're not confident opening up your PC and installing hardware, arrange for someone else to do it for you.

if its pretty straighforward i think i can do it then...i was told it is simple if you follow what they told me in the directions
Tue Jun 21, 2011 2:10 pm
It's not too complicated, just be careful.

does anyone know how to get the files to work on nba live 08..i am putting the files for jerseys into where they go...and they are not showing up...they have shown up before.i had to redownload the game and start over...do i need to turn off UAC since i have windows 7..i ask because i have to do that for nhl 08 when i have done files
Wed Aug 31, 2011 9:45 am
I wouldn't have thought so. There's no alternate explanation for how to place patches aside from the ones already provided.
Wed Aug 31, 2011 1:26 pm
ok...i know i have had them work before....with windows 7 i have it where when i put more than 1 file into viv i just extract them and copy all at once and paste into where they go....maybe i should do one by one?...
