Can you mod NBA 2K11 for the XBOX 360...

Can you mod 2K11 for the 360 for arenas, jerseys, teams, etc? Not for My Player. I neither want nor need a mod for My Player. I would, however, want to add some classic teams from the 2000's.

I've been on google trying to find the answer and I almost came to the conclusion that it can't be done until I found that someone modded 2K11 on XBOX so it looks similar to a street game on this site, like the environment and everything.

If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated.

the only thing we can mod is the roster file. through manipulating the roster file I was able to make all teams use their practice jerseys instead of their normal jerseys and replaced all stadiums with the blacktop stadium.


so it is impossible to add new textures or other art files to the game, but we can rearrange various parts of the game around


if you goto operationsports' rosters section they have people doing classic rosters there. you can start an association mode with whatever team you want in your roster, goto save > export team and then load that team into your other roster.

A little disappointed that the same molding for PC cannot be done on 360, but at least I know that classic teams can be arranged.

well they have those xbox 360 specialized flash drives.. so maybe you could put some files on there and hope for the best haha, i nearly tried that once

you dont need the specialized ones, any USB stick works, but nothign other than a 360 roster will load

So, you can't change the generic looking faces for the better looking ones like MGX jordan for the 360. I'm pretty sure that if the company can add updates to the courts like the Cavs court with the 2 swords, then there is got to be a way you can change the faces for the better looking ones created by these geniuses. I am so open to be educated by the process.

they added a new floor file through their update patch, so unless we get somehow hack M$'s patching system to add more files to the games, and the create a tool that could edit 360 iff files, it isn't going to happen.

So I can use a usb & add patches on their? I've been wondering the same thing. I wanted to add some old rosters.

with a usb stick you can transfer 360 rosters to the computer to edit, but you cannot put pc rosters or patches on the 360
