Granger,George combine for 49,Pacers continue to improve

Image

After the huge win at home last game against the Clippers, the Indiana Pacers hit the road again to visit Oregon and to play the TrailBlazers. For the first time since longtime the Blazers were all healthy - Roy,Oden,Aldridge,Batum everyone was going to play.
First quarter wasn't very entertaining but after a 9-0 run Portland took a 17-14 lead and they finished the quarter 19 to 17 thanks to Aldridge's great mid-range shots.
The second one started with two straight three pointers from Danny Granger who was unsure about what Portland were trying to do.This gave the Pacers the zeal and they outscored the Blazers 29 to 13 in the second quarter as Danny Granger scored 14 points in the 2nd quarter.Darren Collison was struggling by the way he was 0-7 at the half.
J.J. Barea started the second half and he began with another three pointer for the Pacers. The third one was Paul George's quarter. He was unstoppable from mid-range and he also made some nice dunks. The good play on the defensive end didn't allow Portland to score and Indiana had also too many fastbreaks.
The Blazers never really had a chance of winning the game. The difference was 8+ points throughout the whole half.
On the photo you can see also the play of the day as Danny Granger posterized veterans Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace.

Pacers losing to the worst team

Image

The worst team in the league,Golden State Warriors, currently standing at 1-8 record were at home against the good looking Pacers. The Warriors team look really decent and its not a lie that they got too much potenital with this amazing trio Barnes-Ellis-Curry.And when you add David Lee and Anthony Randolph it really looks like a team for the future.
Although they're really good looking team, they had won only 1 game.
Indiana came to town and they started playing awful in defense. The Warriors were getting too easy to the basket and there' was only Roy Hibbert, who blocked 7 shots but the most times GS were scoring.Danny Granger took the things in his hands but Harrison Barnes played great on him and Danny missed a lot of shots.Darren Collison was the other safety plan but he wasn't enough good too.
Steph Curry was deadly from the FT as the last season he was the best in the league in that category. He scored 8 from 9 and he also added 2 three pointers for finishing with 26 points.
After this game it is sure that the Pacers will be looking for a better rebounder because they were outrebounded once again(this season they have never taken more rebounds than the opposite team).
There is a talk about a trade sending Darren Collison to the Timberwolves in exchange of Kevin Love(some other players are listed in the trade too).

Nice to see Paul George getting some playtime and he really rewards you for that.

5-4 is a decent start for the Pacers, i think you are on a good way.

Four players changing teams in a blockbuster trade

*Indiana receive : Kevin Love,Wayne Ellington
Minnesota receive : Tyler Hansbrough,Dahntay Jones and 2012 1st round draft pick(via Kings)

After long negotiations, finally Kevin Love will be wearing the Pacers jersey. He was traded to the Pacers to help them get more productive and achieve better record.Tyler Hansbrough and Dahntay Jones from now on will be Wolves.Big plus for the Twolves is that they also receive the draft pick from the Kings in next year's draft.
Fans were upset as they think they are losing big name in this trade.Love was the face of this franchise.

Indiana Trade Grade : A-
Minnesota Trade Grade : C

*trade was done via trade finder
