Unlikely MVP helps the West get the win

With the final day of this great weekend always being the most intense, the pressure was certainly felt in the air, as the East stars are going to face the West heros.
With the East being a team with more first-time All-Stars, they still had the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Amar`e Stoudemire. But having players on the bench, who are first-timers, might hurt your chances. Still, John Wall, Stephen Jackson, JaVale McGee and many more were excited to show their talents in the greatest game to be played in the season, except for the Finals. Derrick Rose however said that even though you are a first timer, you will still feel the greatness of the game. "At some point, you just feel the vibe and you start to play like everybody else."
On the other end. West is more of a veteran team, with Kobe, Dirk and Yao leading the way. But they do have some youth in there, as the Sophomore MVP Tyreke Evans came of the bench and Rudy Gay, a first timer, started in the match. Kobe however said that he wants to see what the younger guys can do. "I know that myself or Dirk or Nash can go off in a hurry, but I really would like to see the youngsters do their thing."
As the game tipped off, the East started to dominate. The great plays of Wade and Carmelo really got the game off running and helped the team a lot. But with Kobe and Nowitzki on the other side, clearly West could get the game back. The first half was neck-and-neck, with both teams not giving up. Players like Billups and Parker came off the bench and had some great scoring for their team. But in the third, a unlikely hero rose to the top as Manu Ginobili started killing East with his game. Nobody could stop him, as Wade struggled with him on the defensive side. Derrick Rose came off the bench and started to work pretty great, scoring a nice amount of points to go with his play, but West All-Stars were better, as they got the win 125-121.
But it was Manu Ginobili, who got the MVP status for that night, coming off the bench and finishing the game for the West. Everybody was pretty stunned of who got the MVP status, but credit needs to be given where it is due, as he was staggering that night. "I would like to thank all of these players tonight, and the fans here and watching at home!"
Now, the game has ended, so has the weekend, as we get back to our regular season.
MVP

Manu Ginobili

Hinrich shines as Hawks take the season series 2-0
First Quarter
Last time these teams met, Atlanta took a narrow 111-108 victory. Hawks could be the first round matchup for the Cavaliers, so every win right now will make a difference.
The game started off really fast pace for Atlanta, as they took the lead quickly. They built on it big, as Cleveland struggled from the paint area, meaning Blake and Varejao had hard time to get their points.
But their bench players stepped up, as the shooting of DeRozan and Eyenga got the game back for them at 21. With their help, Parker and Greene started to shoot good as well, but with Atlanta getting on the line too much, the first ended 27-26.
Cavaliers top scorer: D.Greene 5 PTS 1 REB 1 STL
Hawks top scorer: J.Johnson 9 PTS 1 STL
Second Quarter
Like the first, it started out of the Hawks taking the game away more. Cleveland tried to get the game inside, but failed, as Griffin did not deliver and missing one of their main man T-Will hurts them badly.
DeMar had some chances to dunk it, which he did, but the shooting of Kirk Hinrich made his every shot/dunk pointless, as Hawks went more and more away with the game.
As the shooters of Cleveland started to struggle, the game went more pathetic for the fans, as they were still hoping that their players might step it up. However, with the quarter ending 58-47, things did not look good.
Cavaliers top scorer: A.Parker 10 PTS 1 AST 2 STL
Hawks top scorer: K.Hinrich 15 PTS 2 REB 7 ASTThird QuarterThis quarter was different. As Cleveland needed something to change the game picture, so they did, as they went on a huge run. The shooting of DeRozan and Parker was overwhelming, as they tied up the game at 70.
But Atlanta still held the lead, as Blake Griffin made a stupid foul on the last two seconds in, to put Hinrich on the line for three. He hit them all, which meant that the quarter would finish 78-74, with a lot of excitement coming up in the forth.
Cavaliers top scorer: D.DeRozan 18 PTS 5 AST 1 STL 4 REB 2 BLK
Hawks top scorer: J.Johnson 19 PTS 1 REB 2 STL
Forth QuarterCleveland looked on to take the lead, as they started to dominate. They were good, but they were going against Atlantas great. With having a huge chance to win, in four minutes in, they lost the lead from four to 17.
After that, it was all over. Cleveland tried to give the scoring load to Parker, who delivered, but it was not enough, as the game ended 112-96.Press Conference:"Blake, what happened with your play? You were totally off."
"Well, I cant be awesome everygame, but this was one, where I should have stepped up."
"Hinrich, you had a great game, not a usual game for you. How did you feel?"
"Too be honest, I felt I can conquer the world that game. I am really ready to finish this season with a playoff spot."Conclusion:As Cleveland might face this team, Atlanta might have the upper hand of that matchup. But first, they got to secure their playoff spot.Box Scores:

All-Stars shine as Spurs even up the season series
First Quarter
Last time these teams met, the Cavaliers took a dominating win at Spurs house, scoring 115-92. With seeming that San Antonio would have a upper hand this time, with two all-stars: MVP Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. However, T-Will returned and Blake Griffin healed from his minor injury.
It started out really back and forth, both teams were battling and did not give up on both sides. Spurs however went on a run, with the help of Tony Parker. Cavaliers did not shoot well, but Griffin was dominating the inside game, which got them back in a hurry.
With time winding down, Varejao had a chance to tie it before the end, but missed the shot, as it ended 31-29.
Cavaliers top scorer: B.Griffin 14 PTS 2 REB 1 STL
Spurs top scorer: T.Parker 9 PTS 1 REB 3 AST
Second QuarterLike the first, it was neck-and-neck. Spurs were dominating the boards but scoring in the paint was held by the Cavaliers.
As for his bad first quarter, he totally changed it in the second, as T-Will scored all of his 11 points in the second, holding the Cavs on the heels of San Antonio.
With him subbed out, it was Blake Griffin who started to dominate. He started to score, and the veteran Tim Duncan could not hold him.
At the end, it was Eyenga, who hit a three to tie it up and finish the half 58-58.
Cavaliers top scorer: B.Griffin 22 PTS 4 REB 1 STL 1 AST
Spurs top scorer: M.Ginobili 13 PTS 2 REB 2 AST 3 STL
Third Quarter
As again, the teams started to score back-and-forth. But something happened, Blake Griffin crumbled, as the team really counted for him. He had five turnovers, in some quick seconds.
After that, Cavaliers totally lost it and San Antonio went on a run to make the game double-digits. T-Will tried to score, but Tony Parkers play was too much for him and the rest of the team, as it ended 84-71.
Cavaliers top scorer: B.Griffin 22 PTS 5 REB 1 STL 2 AST
Spurs top scorer: T.Parker 20 PTS 1 REB 7 AST 1 BLKForth QuarterWith the Cavaliers crumbling, they certainly made things better by bringing in Christian Eyenga, who got the game back.
But with everybody else being totally off, he had no chance of doing things on his own. T-Will and Parker tried to get the game closer, which they did, but with the intensive fouling and turnovers, it was all over, as San Antonio took a 113-107 win, to even up the series.Press Conference:"Coach Byron, how do you feel about your teams play?"
"Well, what can I say. The turnovers killed us."
"Tony Parker, do you feel that with your today's play you would have been the MVP?"
"No, I don't. Manu was on fire that night. I was great today but comparing him to me, no chance."Conclusion:With this loss, the Cavaliers lose the top spot to Miami again. The Spurs however need every win to secure their fifth spot, with the Trail Blazers being right behind them.Box Scores:

µTorrent, I could have. But I am happy that the team is full now. Blake is not injured and T-Will can kill other teams now.
Thierry •, 1-1 season series, but with their current record, their first round opponent(Grizzlies) is the team that have won the Spurs in every association(expt yours)
