2011 NBA Finals: Mavs V. Heat, part deux

The US sports reference was just once again about the fact that if your team wins it, you will always be da man as a franchise player, while if your team loses, it's only your fault.

If you're the best player on the team, especially in a sport like basketball where the individual can certainly shine, you're going to get the lion's share of the glory or the blame, depending on how you perform. Great expectations, after all.

I LOVE BRIAN CARDINAL!!! He's earning his bucks just for standing there.

Marion's gotta finish on a drive like that. Dirk's starting to warm up a little bit, he'll need to have it going in the fourth. Another Heat run coming.

The Custodian with some nice decisions. Setting up Dirk, giving up two hard fouls and drawing one charge. You can't ask for more from a guy looking like he should be sitting in a nursing home.

If there's a game 7 do you guys think that some suspensions could be given?

Lebron is passing away too many opportunities. When was the last time he had 30 points. We need his scoring.

I certainly hope so as long as there is a game 7 to be played. As much as I disliked Stevenson's shoves, Chalmers should have been smarter. If there is going to be a suspension, I believe it's going to be Chalmers and Stevenson. Not sure about Haslem though.

Nah, it wasn't like there were exchange of fists. The suspensions would probably carry over next year.

Add Brian Cardinal to that. I'm rooting for the Mavs but it's sad to see the greatness that is Joel Anthony sitting on the bench while Mahinmi and The Custodian are strutting their stuff for the world to see.
Brian Cardinal has been playing so well that I already accept that he's one of the few players that are worthy to play along side The Greatness, if a super team was to be formed.

Barea's lady friend must have planned some exciting beach 'activities' for them since they're in Miami. It's the only reason why he's playing so well right now.

Too many turnovers. Offense has awful tonight. About 9 minutes left to fix things right, something's gotta happen on both ends to turn this game around.

I'm getting mad seeing all those journalists from France, Spain, China, etc. Germany has it's best player of all time in the NBA finals, and we don't get live coverage over here. How is this sport ever gonna get big in Germany? What I would give for seeing this on T.V. with Frank Buschmann on the mic.
