If Cardinal, Mahinmi and Brewer score the rest of Dallas' points and the Mavs win this one, Dirk can end the game with 1-30. I don't care. But it would be nice if something went in for him. It hurts to see him struggle like that. I'm certain he'll come up big later, though.

Right now, Terry deserves it for this game, but unless he goes off for like 50, it's gonna be Dirk when the Mavs win.

1/12, that was certainly unexpected. They're got to start falling for him at some point, the rest of the Mavs have to pick up the slack in the meantime though. The good news for Mavs is that they're up by two, which has to be a little disheartening for the Heat. Anyone's game once again, though.

I'm with Sauru on this one. The MVP doesn't go to who plays the best in the deciding game, it's based on the whole series and Dirk has been the Mavs' MVP so far in the Finals.

I didn't even think of Peja... That's how forgettable he's been in this series. It's a shame, he has been great earlier.

Growing dislikes on Stevenson really. But that's the types of players that could make a difference on and off the court and be the X-factor I guess.

Not that I would take it away from him, I mean, everything else would be a disappointment. There's nobody on the Mavs who played better and more consistent during the series. But I just wanted to make clear that I don't think there was a real possibility of Dirk not winning it, even if Terry for example played like he did in the last game and tonight for the whole series.

If the Mavs win it, give my man Dirk this award. He deserves it so much no matter how he shot the ball in the deciding game.

The US sports reference was just once again about the fact that if your team wins it, you will always be da man as a franchise player, while if your team loses, it's only your fault.
