Awesome series, I really like it. 2-0 then on road 2-2, then 2-3, Kobe injured 3-3 and Mavs 4-3... Game 6&7 reminds me Perkins injury in 2010 Finals...

I have to agree with the sentiments of others. An absolutely epic & see-sawing series. The injury to Kobe seems to be the nail in the coffin & he couldn't play through the pain effectively.

Thanks for the reply guys. It was a really fun series to play, the injury to Kobe really affected the team and made me struggled on those final two games Plus I don't know how to use Pau Gasol

Great to see the Lakers finally out! Kind of awkward that Kobe would get injured at such a crucial moment; bet the RL Kobe wouldn't have let an injury stop him. I would've also thought you wanted virtual revenge on the Mavs and taken them out.

Dallas Mavericks 2010-2011 NBA Champions

In their second finals appearance they finally win the hardwood. In an epic battle in the Game 7 of the NBA Finals the Dallas Mavericks edge out the Atlanta Hawks 107-102. They also did it without their superstar Dirk Nowitzki who got injured in the first minute of Game 6.

Shawn Marion led the Mavs in scoring with 23 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Jason Kidd had another wonderful game with 19 points, 8 boards, 13 assists and 3 steals. Jason Terry added 18 points.

The Hawks were led by Josh Smith with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks. Joe Johnson had 24 points while Jamaal Crawford added 13 points.

Despite only playing 5 games Nowitzki was named the Finals MVP. He averaged 27 PPG and 10 RPG. Many thought that the award should be given to Kidd who averaged 16 PPG, 5 RPG, 9 APG and 3 SPG in 7 games.
