CJI Cricket just emailed me to confirm my purchase. Which will be shipping to some other dude in Queensland. This is getting annoying. Five emails in one afternoon.

I'd keep pestering PayPal about it.

I just signed a contract with another company, also as a Flash designer. Higher salary compared to the one where I'm working now. I am to bid farewell tomorrow.

Dear LiveJournal,

My knees are too injury prone.

I got a nice carpet burn on Friday, and then today, I set a screen on a guy in practice, and his teammate didn't yell "Screen".

Guess who's knee got injured before the last game of the soccer season and the tournament :rimshot:

Nice. :cheeky:

Dear LiveJournal,

Please get my mom off my case. What part of "senior year is just about over" is she unable to comprehend? If it's 55 degrees outside in the middle of May, I'm going to play basketball as long as I can. ktnxbai.

I had a hard time talking to my manager. :( It is heavy to the heart.

Re: Dear LiveJournal,

You should have made a one hour video/flash presentation about your decision, then show it to your manager and officemates.

Re: Dear LiveJournal,

Wed May 18, 2011 4:42 pm

Or let it be covered by ESPN.

EDIT: Thanks Andrew. (Y)

Dear LiveJournal,

I made my first visit here since the first week of May.

Oh boy, I remember the day I resigned as a teacher to work for a TV station (that didn't happen, if you guys remember), you also posted that same video.

*trembles in fear*

I did? Well, as my predictions for the Bulls this season have shown, the powers of jinx appear to have left me; you should be safe. ;)

It's better than when you're sober.

Just got another three emails, this time in reference to the purchase of golf clubs.

Guess having another go at PayPal is the way to go then.

You'd think the guy who signed up would be doing something about it too, obviously he's not getting his receipts and purchase confirmation emails.

Ah, that sounds familiar. Another good way to go.

I got one with his eBay username on it. Messaged him, got his email address, and forwarded everything. Let's hope I get a 'confirm change of email address' email from PayPal shortly. Though there's a chance my forwards went into his spam folder and I can't message him again on eBay to let him know I've done it (they have a once-a-day limit for some reason, as though this situation weren't bothersome enough already), and following a suggestion from one of the posters on another forum I tried to reset his password, so he'll need at least that email to log in and change anything.

Hopefully that does the trick then.

Dear LiveJournal,

Got that tournament against the 2nd best team. It was an odd week.... a possible 8 seed tied the 3 seed, then the team that had been 2nd to last two weeks ago upsets the 5 seed to sneak in. Wow

Looks like it, I got emails to say I'd added an email address and changed my primary address last night, so I should be left in peace from now on.

My damn Soccer tournament was cancelled twice, one for rain and now for logistical reasons, and it looks like it won't be rescheduled :/

Dear LiveJournal,

I had a pretty weird day yesterday. I fell out of my daily routine (which is why it felt weird) because of this:

Image

She somehow got tied up on the football net that's hardly visible in the background. Had to use scissors to get her out. Tried feeding her, she wouldn't eat, but I did give her some water. I'm assuming she did get reunited with her mother sometime last night as she wasn't under the bench where I left her. While I prefer dogs over cats, it was still a fun experience on a rather boring day when the world was supposed to end.
