Just Cause 2, NBA 2K11

in a couple of days... Batman Arkham Asylum and few more days after that Borderlands..

Just Cause 2 is fun but it is getting repetitive. Im just going through the motions right now in that game. I still have fun but the shine wore off after a couple of days for this game.

NBA 2k11. Since I got the gamepad Ive only played My Player so far. I still havent figured out all the detailed controls such as call plays and ask for picks but its still fun worthy with what I can do. Im quite one dimensional and probably gonna hve more fun as I gain more skills

If you ever get to that side-mission from the Ular Boys (correct me if I'm wrong) wherein you blow five missiles up, the fifth one being launched in mid-air already. That one pretty much cracked me up.

Yeah I already did that. That one was fun though I vaguely remember it lol.
Faction missions are preposterously repetitive. 80% of them involve the same plot. You escort a technician through enemy base. Probably will be asked to take down a sniper or a mounted gunner or a rocket launcher in the process along with killing many soldiers as well in your path. Then the technician reaches his destination where he moves his hands around like a crystal ball over a machine while you fight waves of enemies to protect that area. Then mission complete when technician finishes up.

I have only completed 23% of this game and have already spent like over 20 hours. Fail I know. But the thing is there are like millions of races in this game to do. And I dont give a shit about them. Honestly.

But the game is at its best when you start wondering if you can pull some silly thing off and you end up actually doing it. I got not much complains though. Im having fun despite its repetitiveness. Worth the $13 I spent on it.

Not ripping on the advice Axel, can't believe there are people who play like what Drex said.

That method usually works in real matches, not in videogames.

Well, Q didn't exactly elaborate on what part of one-on-one situations he struggles on, so I guess I had to use Captain Obvious there.

Saving every penny so I can buy FIFA 11 for PS3.

Meanwhile, playing 2K11 here, and the last couple of planets in Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

Wasted my time by finishing these adultswim games...

http://games.adultswim.com/yeti-sasquat ... -game.html (50 waves)
http://games.adultswim.com/tofu-hunter- ... -game.html (I just like shooting them tofu...with an rpg!)
http://games.adultswim.com/polar-bear-p ... -game.html (controls suck but good game concept)

Let's see if you can last playing this with the volume turned all the way up...

Story missions are way easier if you ask me. Takeover missions are really repetitive.

Just ordered Crysis 2 for PC, can't wait to give it a spin. It's probably gonna bring my rig to its knees with all the bells and whistles on, but it should be worth it.

Plus it does not offer the same experience as the first. The AIs act astray, the gameplay is linear, the Nanosuit 2.0 tells you exactly what you need to do, ammunition is scattered all over the place AND they refill your clip COMPLETELY.

EDIT: Looking forward for Witcher 2. :hump:

Im playing Batman Arkham Asylum right now. Pretty fun game. At first I thought this game is gonna get repetitive with this simple button mashing during fights but it gets cleverly more detailed as you go along. Plus the story, great sounds and voice acting make this more immersive.

BTW I think some asswipe spoiled the story for me in one of the comments on a video review for this game on you tube. I stopped reading the douchebag's comment after I read something along the lines of Joker getting injected with venom himself. Can anyone confirm if I have had a major part of the story ruined for me? And please do not give more details revealing more of the story.

Going through SSX 3 for like the 8th or 9th time. Love that game. It's aged surprisingly well

Waiting for Crysis 2, I'm doing a second playthrough in Portal 2, finishing the last episode of the last Sam & Max season, and I still have the third episode of Back To The Future to play.
