Re: Andrew's 08 Updates (Playoff Transitions Released)

New rosters are still coming but I've been putting together a few other updates in the meantime, starting with some playoff themed transition patches.

These are all based on the transitions used in the TNT and ESPN broadcasts during the 2011 NBA Playoffs. You can choose between the NBA Playoffs logo, the NBA on ESPN logo or the gold TNT logo that the NBA on TNT broadcasts have been using on transitions during playoff games.

So i just saw some guy(or possibly girl) just released your new transitions on 56nba.
Is your work to be distributed freely or do they need your permission. If they need your permission then i will gladly give a internet smackdown to that guy(or girl).

Note. This person did credit you though.

So long as they've done me the courtesy of giving credit, I don't really have a problem with it. We've been doing the same thing with their stuff here to alleviate the language barrier, re-posting and giving appropriate credit, so it's fine. But thanks all the same. :)

If you can see, "ROSTER ONLY" you will choose the roster file only. "FULL PACKAGE" means all of the stuffs including cfs, jerseys, courts ETC.. Use your common sense :cheeky:

Note that you'll probably be missing a few faces if you download the roster only version of the next update but apart from that, there'd be no compatibility issues.

New rosters are still coming, along with a Wizards logo patch and a few other things I've been working on. However, I thought I'd share a couple of work in progress previews of something else I've been trying my hand at in the past few days, a couple of practice courts.

The first is one for the Bulls, based on their practice court at the Berto Center:

Some photos for comparison:

I've also had a shot at a practice court inspired by The Hangar from NBA Live 10:

And a couple of screenshots to compare:

Thanks, I feel they're not too bad for a first try. ;) I'll see what else I can do with them before putting them out there, I'm sure I'll give some others a shot at some point too.

Last Question sir Andrew,I cant understand the Art Troubleshooting (you should run a Windows search for NLSC Rosters v4.0 Installed Here.txt) What to do please explain detailed .

Re: Andrew's Updates: Transitions Out; Practice Court Previe

Mon May 16, 2011 4:43 pm

If the art updates aren't showing up in your game, then run a search for that file to find out where the art has been misplaced (then move it accordingly; full instructions are included in the troubleshooting file and I cannot put it in any simpler terms than I have done there). If the art shows up, you don't need to go looking for that text file.

What is the name of that art file?

It's all there in the troubleshooting document and the update.txt readme file. Sorry, but I'm not going into it all again; the reason I put together those simple instructions and included them with the rosters is so that I don't have to type up instructions whenever the issues comes up. If you can't handle those troubleshooting steps then you're probably best off not using any patches at all.

I'll see what I can do. Could I please make use of some your court textures for the floor? If so, I should be able to whip something up. :)
